The Bloomington Target off of York Ave has all of wave 1 POTP except for Swoop, Unless you're good with a paintbrush I'd skip the Grimlock there, he has a SERIOUS paint defect on his visor

Whoever was looking for a G1 Cliffjumper, Cedar Cliff (heh) has one for $25, although I did not inspect him

I DID however, walk away with a $90 Wheeljack. Complete, stickers unapplied, with about a 85% complete label sheet and his instructions. I was apprehensive about it being a KO, but I found a couple KO guides, and he seems to have none of the red flags. So all things considered I guess I did ok.

But man oh man, Cedar Cliff's owner is....quite the character.

That would be me that was looking for G1 Cliffjumper. Though Cedar Cliff is a bit of a drive for me.

Do you recall offhand what 3P figures he was still sitting on?

I remember some 3P MP Seekers and Coneheads, as well as a "Masterpiece" Mirage. Can't remember what it's called. Plus a couple other things I can't recall. I believe the Seekers and Coneheads were iGear, but I think he had a couple mismarked as actual MPs.

I addition to the above I remember seeing Maketoys Gun dog, Badcube Huff, Mania King, A few headmasters and I think Badcube Outback.
Seekers and Coneheads are defiantly KOs but I'm pretty sure they are Yes Model.

I rarely leave not entertained, in a what the hell did I just hear kind of way.

Odd sighting at Shoreview Target... G2 Bruticus and Victorion sets... For full price of $100. Not sure where they came from but if anyone missed them and wants to pay MSRP they are in the "large items" aisle.

Nothing of interest at the Burnsville Target or Toys R Us.

Ok - well, I feel like planning for after the Superbowl is the best idea anyways. Mid-Feb? 9th or 16th? (or their respective weekends?)

I returned the G2 Bruticus. Got it when I ordered a Computron off Target.com. Oops? ... Luckily the SECOND one I ordered actually showed up ;)

I feel like the 16th I have something going on.

He's brutally honest when buying stuff but takes *anything* which is an advantage when there's a Lioconvoy and Shadow Panther on the shelf and you need an emergency buck.

Speaking of Lioconvoy... anybody else who has one know how to get his torso locked in bot mode. @optimusfan , I know I helped with yours but couldn't recreate the magic on mine.

    Maybe the 9th, then?

IIRC, it doesn't lock? The arms tab into place and hold the torso into position. I could go get mine and check if that's not the case.

    Happy German Toy Fair Eve!

May your day be filled with vauge descriptions of new figures and bald men partially obscuring Titan class reveals.

I've never been to that location, but it's good to hear there's at least one more option for toy hunters sticking around.

That's cool, but I wish it was Minnetonka since that place is huge. Probably also why it's closing...

Yay! The store near me is staying open (for now). Means I still have one reason to visit the Northtown Mall area. I've talked a number of employees there in the past too. Many have been there for quite a while, so I'm sure they're relieved. I know what it's like to work for a place for years and have it suddenly be closed down. (Rainbow Foods)

Ugh. The Unique in Burnsville is depressing. There are chunks of so many nice figures in the bags. Like they fed a decent collection through a chipper. :(

What kind of figures? Star Wars, Marvel Legends, Transformers?

Seeing that the place is a thrift shop, it doesn't surprise me given I saw the same kind of thing before at Goodwill and Savers.

Transformers. Someone's animated collection and a couple misc other series got stomped on in the back. The ROTF Lockdown made me sad.
