Regarding Deadpool, Bob Iger CEO of Disney, has already stated that Deadpool will stay R-Rated at Disney as long they let the audience know what kind of film this is and he said they dont see why they cant do R-Rated films, so they are open to doing Marvel films that arent aimed at kids.

They could release all the R rated movies they wanted to under the Fox logo.

We already got impression, how shitty those ideas are. If they aren't idiots, they must refuse everything writers room produced. People must admit their mistakes. And it is much cheaper (and take not so long time) to write new script, than wast another 150-200 millions for another failure.

We've only seen 1 film they pitched there, we dont know what the other films are like, for all we know Bumblebee could be even better or the Cybertron prequel could be fantastic, we dont know. it all depends on how you execute them.

MB filmed TF1-4 brilliantly, but you again hint, that TF5 problems is his guilt. No, even Hitchcock said, that the script is the most important to produce a good film. And the director, participating in the script producing is essencial - he or she must adapt the script for his/her manner at the initial stage, or the problems with editing will occur inevitably. And about Bumblebee Movie you know, that it already copies some TF1 and AOE details.

Even if writers room's scripts are better, witch is highly unlikely, continuity is broken, you can throw away ROTF, DOTM and AOE and we'll never know anything about Creators, Galvatron and Knights of Temenos. TF5 creates new continuity and I personally don't care about it.

I know, why do you defend screenwriters room, but hate Michael Bay - because you worship Marvel and copying its style looks good for you. But not for me and obviously (looking at box-office) not for the majority of audience.

Why is it so hard for people on here to believe the 2019 film is most likely the Animated prequel? No offense..

Because they pretty much said that it was going to be a live action movie.

I do not hate Micheal Bay, I love Micheal Bay, i loved all 5 films in the Transformers movies, if Bay direct Transformers 6, i will be happy and excited to see what he does next, but i will too be worried for the good of the franchise, considering he has not had a good track record critically up to this point, lets keep in mind we now live in age where people will listen to critics before they watch a movie, i can assure you if Revenge of the Fallen or Age of Extinction came out today, they would've not made the amount of money they did few years ago, if the Last Knight had came out lets say 2014, it would've made 1 billion dollars.

Also while i do love Bay and what he's done, i am going to put my plug my ears and go lalalala, we need a new direction for these films if we want these movies to be heathly and do much better in the future. i want Bay to stay so badly and do his thing, but i also want this series to survive, Trust me when i say you that the ONLY reason i want Bay to go is because i want this franchise to last 10 more years, i have nothing agaisnt Bay, as i said before i love these films including The Last Knight, i mean if TLK had made 1 billion or at least had done the money that TF1 and ROTF made, then i would not be worrying for this franchise, i am sad TLK underperformed, if i were a Bay Hater, then why i would be sad that this movie underperformed?, if i were a Bay hater then i would be happy that it failed, but i am not happy, i am sad because i love these films and i want those films to continue, so as much i lvoe Bay and i want him to stay on, we need a new direction for the good of this franchise, i dont want them to reboot, i want to keep seeing the universe that i have following for 10 years

And yes i love Marvel, but i never mentioned Marvel in the last post, i am not using the MCU as an example right now, i have other times, but right now i am not, and i am not even saying they need to copy Marvel, DC tried and they failed (i still love the DCEU films regardless), heck Transformers 5 is my favorite live action film of 2017, not a Marvel film, not a DC film, Transformers 5 is my favorite live action movie of 2017, but i will not say it doesnt has it issues and i wont ever say they could've done better, they needed to make it much better so people like you and others could've had a great time with it.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that Animated movies take years to be made and they are just starting working on it, at best the most likely date for this movie is 2020 or 2021. Could it be the Animated film, its possible, time will tell of course, if they dont start filming an Transformers film this year, but they are still aiming an June 2019 date for the next film, then yes its the animated film.

Because TF6 is being made by Paramount and the animated film is being handled by Boulder Media?

Seriously, that's what the news article says:

It doesn’t help that Hasbro are listing Bumblebee Movie figures as TF6. No wonder people are finding it difficult to keep track of what’s what.

Planned and will are two very different terms when it comes to Hollywood. Sony planned a whole host of films based on Ghostbusters but after their 2016 Ghostbusters film came in 21st place at the domestic box office with only $138 million Sony decided to scrap all their Ghostbusters plans to focus on other films. Transformers The Last Knight came in 23rd place domestically with $130 million but unlike Sony Paramount doesn't really have much of anything to fall back on.

As far as fixing things the track record isn't looking very good. The Paramount franchises seem to have box office drops instead of box office gains. GI Joe went from $150 million to $122 million domestically. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles went from $191 million to $82 million domestically. The Star Trek not reboot went from $257 million to $228 million to $158 million domestically. Even Transformers was more a case of having to depend on expanding markets overseas as the domestic box office for Transformers has declined every film since Revenge of the Fallen.

No they haven't. And even if they "pretty much" did, "pretty much" isn't official confirmation. Please tell me where they exactly said it would be a live action sequel to The Last Knight. Yet, on the other hand, the animated film has been in development and production for quite a while.

Also, I don't know if you've been banned before, but if not, welcome to the club! You're only a true Bayformer fan and defender if you've been banned at least once on these bias forums, lmao.

They do though say that TF6 propably is a direct sequel to The Last Knight.

Edit: As seen here, and I quote the article:

I can see that some people believe that the 2019 movie isn't going to be Live Action because it doesn't have enough time to develop. Let us take a look at the facts:
    • The story is probably finished by now. They did all the work with the Writers' Room.
    • Mark Whalberg is contractually obligated to star in 3 Transformers movies. So, we do have a lead.
    • Transformers: The Last Knight production didn't start hiring other leads and crew until April/May 2016 for a Summer 2017 release.
    • Supporting roles, additional cast hiring took place in February 2016. We still have time for that.
    • Filming for TLK didn't start until late May 2016.
BUT things could change IF they decided to wait for Bumblebee Box Office Records. Then again they do know it's a small budget movie and may not consider it much.
