I'm still waiting on mine to deliver from HLJ, i'm really regretting using SAL over EMS. Ah well, not much to do now but wait.

 

If you value time over money, never go SAL. It's not unreasonable to wait for a month before a SAL shipment reaches its destination.

 

If you value patience over totally unecessary custom fees, always go SAL

Btw, I just realized Sunstreaker is heavily featured in Megatron's Master Plan pt1. I don't even think Sideswipe's in it! It's cool to see a character who's often paired up with another without his partner.

 

Huh, no way. That's one of the few episodes I had on VHS. I really need to rewatch it!

Glancing over it, I see Sunstreaker sports the same kind of generic pistol design as Ironhide. I've had him sporting one of Ironhide's pistols the past week, it fits perfectly, so that's pretty cool




Also, Megatron's Master Plan is totally fake news!!

Yeah, Megatron's Master Plan is a blast! And it's like most multi-parters in G1 where the first ep's animation is ok, but the team on the last chapter turns in stellar work. The Coneheads tearing up that downtown area is especially memorable.

 

Hah, it's actually mentioned in the TFWiki page about the episode, that this is the introduction of the generic blaster design. Just scrolled through to find Sunstreaker wielding it  

I haven't really used Sunstreaker's little black pistol, I prefer the chunkier design of Ironhide's ones. Looks great wielded in a two-handed pose, which try to snap some pics

I'm fine with being patient usually, but SAL has also usually delivered to me in about 2 weeks, so I'm hoping it shows up in the next few days.
