Still ain't that Drake/Future collab tho

You're on a forum for grown adults who play with toys fam don't judge, you're harshing the buzz

I think I made a mistake listening to this version before the album version because FUUUUUUCK this is amazing. Amine in general blew me away with this album, but this track in particular has so much raw emotion about nostalgia and youth, especially in this unplugged version.

BTW, one of the risks involved with purchasing vinyl is the likelihood of getting a warped copy. GoT S2 ended up this way...almost unlistenable...very disappointing.

Lil Skies is the best new rapper out nkw and one of my favorites. His Album “Life of a dark rose” has NO songs that get skipped.

Good song. Was nice of the supermarket owners to let them use their grocery store for the video. :D  Wonder what the significance is of having it shot inside an Asian market?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I'd like to share it. I've been playing guitar seriously for just over a year and its been a real cool journey. I'm also way better at audio editing than video :D . Acoustic part/backing isnt me, but the rest is.

Im in my mid 30s and I never really got into rap.
A lot of it seems unintentionally funny and the overuse of the N word just makes me uncomfortable.

Im a little annoyed because rock music in mainstream seems to fallen off pretty hard and Im sure rap had a part in it.

To be fair, I do like the following:

    Fugees: The Score
    Lupe Fiasco - The Cool
    Tupac Shakur's "Changes"
and some light hearted early 90s stuff like "Cant touch this" Kriss Kross "Jump"

Like anything, there is good and there is bad, and a lot of room for subjectivity. Unintentional humor is probably a product of you not being the core audience.

Being a child of the '80s, I love the Beastie Boys, and have a soft spot for Run DMC. In the '90s, I was briefly into Master P and his style of rap. But nowadays I don't have a use for anything that I'm not nostalgic for in the rap world. Though I find great enjoyment with certain types of jazz, bluegrass, rock, country, pop, or classical music, contemporary rap doesn't speak to me at all. I can acknowledge the skill that goes into some of it, but that doesn't affect my own enjoyment.

Yes, but primarily rap from the '90s and the early 2000s. Every once in a while, I'll find a new(er) song that I like, but I mostly checked out when everyone started crowning Lil' Wayne as the best (at the time). He wasn't even the best of the Cash Money crew. No thanks...

Mostly the older songs from 2005 and back.

This decade has the worst rap music.
