Hey, I was wondering if you could take a pick of any mods you did to attach the Perfect Effect backpack to Steelcore?

Also, if you don't have to do too much digging, can you elaborate on the gun add-on you were talking about? Thanks!

No mods at all needed to attach the backpack, just held on by friction. And held on very securely, I might add. I can take more pics if needed but it might take a while since I packed up my figs to be moved.

As for the add-on for SteelCore’s gun, it was just a scope that attaches to the top of the gun. Looks like two pieces. No real info other than it was shown in a pic alongside Trianix Alpha leading up to its FPcore release. Attached the pic to the top of the page.

I almost pulled the trigger on the FP BF offer of his trailer, but Steel Core itself is way too expensive... I'm hoping they will re-release it.

From me, haha. I probably should have sold it for more but meh... Would have helped if I had sold it here instead so I didn't have to deal with eBay and PayPal's wait-three-weeks-to-get-your-funds-but-ship-it-now BS but oh well.

I loved Steel Core when he came out but honestly, I don't think it's aged all that well. It's still a decent figure but yeah. And the whole exclusive trailer thing (along with the generally limited nature of Steel Core to begin with) never really sat right with me.

Well, hopefully you get some enjoyment out of it. Mine should be pristine... I hope. I cleaned it all off before boxing it back up (not that it really needed any cleaning, but I did it anyway, so it should be good to go.

They really should. It still stands as FP's crowning jewel, it holds up well to any toy released today and many people still seem to want one. Heck, I'd buy another one if they did a reissue.

I would love them to do a reissue and maybe a repaint/retool or two.
I recall something about a construction type deco planned for him at some point? either way would be cool.

I like most of the FP/old MT stuff anyway. Unique aesthetic that deserves it own shelve.

Still love this mold a TON! The trailer and additional Solerons, plus the rest of the accessories I found to give him make him one of my very favorite figs in my collection.

I'd like him more if I wasn't terrified he was going to snap in half when Transforming him.

**Got asked a few times about the white one; it was a limited run and iirc it was just sent to random people.**

Oh FP, there will always be a spot for you in my heart. You had great design, you paved the way for modern 3P. It saddens me to see you fade into the abyss. May your legacy live on in remembrances and homages.

    Adieu, adieu.

Sigh. I took mine out of storage last night and converted it from vehicle to bot mode. Apparently that softer plastic they use for the Core figures gets brittle with age. Both of the ball sockets for his legs crumbled and broke the moment I tried to swivel them down. I can lock everything together for bot mode but that little dude will never walk again. At least I got the trailer with the extra core figure but I'm worried about the life expectancy of all of these guys now.
