When are the legs being released?

 

I certainly hope they will be adding some detail. His robot mode doesn't match the other 4 characters in the set (not talking about kibble). His robot mode doesn't even match his own alt mode... The alt mode is fantastic. the robot mode is just too bland. needs about a 10% detail treatment. Not much. Just enough to break up those massive bare panels. a vent or notch here and there.... Like they've done with their Arialbots

 

I know right? He's nice looking otherwise (like the MP10 feet), but the arms are a bit

 

MMC have announced a set too. Not sure what scale, though.

For me I only want a Swindle, Brawl and Onslaught for my MP display (I don’t really care about Vortex and Blast-Off, as I can’t remember them being anything more than background characters in any incarnation).

Swindle was a no-brainer… had to be UT, and I voted him my toy of the year (he’s perfect IMO).

Brawl was Zeta (is he due out before CNY, btw?), as the UT ‘toon version is too far removed in appearance from all other incarnations.

Onslaught was a tougher call though. I love the look Zeta have gone for, as it’s so reminiscent of what I remember from the G1 toy, ‘toon and comic, but it’s just too big for MP scale – it towers over MP-10. UT, on the other hand, given how ‘toon looking they’ve made their limb-bots, have strangely gone for a more stylised Onslaught, but it works as a huge armour-plated behemoth, even if it’s not quite the Onslaught everyone remembers. In the end, I pre-ordered UT’s, as it scales far better, and it’s still clearly Onslaught (that look really fits the character)… however, I will be keeping my eyes on the reviews and I can see a possibility of either swapping out eventually or having both versions.

And before anyone suggests getting one for bot and one for combiner, I’ve already got Warbotron for my Bruticus. I love his updated look, and won’t be getting any G1 looking boxy combiners.

 

Such a name would be suitable for Blitzwing himself!

Dunno why Zeta went with that redonkulously kibble-ishous envisioning of Blast Off and Vortex and then went and made this guy almost \"militantly\" G1...now members of the SAME SET dont even look like they should be together on a shelf.

I would much prefer the tan parts of Onslaught be changed to OD green. Too much contrast with the tan. It's like his crotch is yelling, 'BAM!'

 

it is like Zeta and Unique Toys traded their Onslaught designs. WTF. the UT version would look perfect with the other ZT figures. PLEASE take this one back to the drawing board.

I'm kinda joking with that but seriously. Kinda a deal breaker now.

Even though I am keeping my MPs (and MP scaled) strictly G1, I kinda want to buy Fans Hobby Archenemy to go with this Bruticus....

 

Master piece single bots are in scale but master piece combiners are out of scale to put combiner master piece figure in scale combined will have to be half size of door regular combiners in comics and cartoons can pick up prime starscream megatron with one hand so far no combiner toy figure has been able to do just that with master piece prime and megatron

 

They have to transform into "huge arms" but they still have to be of the same height as the leg bots... The extra mass have to go somewhere...

 

Onslaught looks so...plain, blah, uninspired...well, I am getting it for combined form...so I guess I can live with it.

 

Or you can wait to see the final colours before judging it
