See now...something like this is more in line with the style of bike I'd like to see incorporated into the line. Futuristic sport and bagger type bikes to go up against the chopper type look of the original Bastards.

Gonna have to agree with you on this.
These bikes look like the ugly child of a sportbike that got wasted and took a moped home.
Was hoping for more sportbike in the vein of a superbike, GSX, CBR, etc.
Unless there is a major design overhaul, I will be passing on these as well.
Also waiting on getting my 3 copies of the original once Otomo finishes production.

My nomination: The Driven Dragons

Lee was driven. So are these guys, by each other.
It can be serious, or silly; depending on your feelings.

I will have to think about which one I want to vote for.

You show off 7 head types. Which ones are more likely to come out? Are any of them tied to their respective gang colors?

 

I'm still not a fan of the design thus far, but hopefully it will grow on me. None of the paint schemes are terrible, but the yellow "Dragons" are the ones I dislike the most.

The Scorpio Riffs are my favorite of the bunch and earned my vote, but I'd be okay with them or the Crimson Kings.

 

So yeah, I think it'd be cool to have Donatello ride one. It has that flavor.

It would also be nice to have one closer to the Mutant Hunters in facial features. The Jesters remind me of them.

I think having a blank faced one to apply stickers/decals to would work for that maybe.

 

I will continue to reiterate: This design needs another pass. It's stumpy and awkward in the worst ways, and I like awkward bots. This isn't the Yamazuki design everyone liked from the art in the kickstarter. Nor does this grunt design have ANYTHING to do with that one if they are supposed to be captains. I don't want you to tank your line by trying to kickstart this and falling way flat.

I'll still stick by my suggestion of bridging more of the design elements from the captains so they look like they belong together rather than looking worlds apart. If you're dead set on this design make it go more out there making it more insectoid themed With the vestigial limbs acting as another pair of arms, the hand claws elongated, and the back seat kibble making some sort of thorax. Also make sure the head in the helmet is more wire body horror.

I like the Crimson Kings color scheme by far. It has an ominous look about it and I can totally see a group of those ambushing an unlucky bastard or two.

The joker and turtles homages are too on the nose for me. I'd like them more if they kept the same patterns, but changed up the colors. Just enough to get the easter egg, but not in your face.

 

Yeah it’s just hard to not see a scooter there (especially going up against how the bastard bikes look) and I just can’t get past the juggernaut/ mysterio style helmet. I can’t tell you how deflating it was seeing how these concept bikes looked when I was in Reston for tfcon. This is looking like a pass for me, but I will continue to watch this.

 

Really thought we would get a feminine mold this time. Oh well. :/
