I didn't say they did. FT tried to launch Caesium at $140 at about the same time Grassor was slated to come out (at least, they promoted him around that time. It wound up taking much longer for Caesium to actually release), so Gigapower probably felt they had to respond by slashing their prices as well to compete.

There's no price wars going on this time, though, so prices are back up to that $200 standard that FT initially set.

 

I don't understand why someone keeps talking about $200 while it's easy to find him at 160/170 shipping fees included...

 

Because that's the MSRP. That you can find retailers selling for less is irrelevant to the base discussion.

Whats the cheapest someone has found it shipping to NA. There's an ebayer selling for 135 shipped but it seems a bit sketchy. Any etailers selling to the U.S. for at least lower than MSRP?

i found this seller too,seems suspicious,although hes still on the "good sellers",i'll play it safe from tf-express, i already bought 2 times from them, not going to risk it, but he's price on klattuu is tempting XD

 

Saw that listing this morning and was going to ask if anyone has bought from that seller before. Seems to good to be true.

 

There is no discernible reason to have that big of a discount on a brand new and highly sought after figure.

Seriously, no joke here. But I wonder why people take the risk of unknown sellers just to save $30-40. It' a very expensive toy that is a lot of R&D work for GP to build, well worth the money if the MSRP is reasonable (I think it is). I'm convinced the headache and stress of buying from a potential scammer just isn't worth the money. Online sellers like rubadub, BBTS, TFSource, amazon all seem way more easy to me.
