I mean... technically she was in the air for a little while before she was in the water?:lolol

Dunno. This is the first I'd heard of anything like that. They'd have been better off taking that approach from the beginning though. The split timeline was a mess.

After finishing the latest DLC I was feeling a Zelda void so I decided to throw down with the Master Mode. I had started MM back when it first came out but I hadn't played enough to even get off the Plateau since I was still curating (for lack of a better word) my regular game file.

It's surprisingly easier than I had expected it to be, mostly because I know where everything is but also because the monsters aren't quite as much of a challenge as I was expecting (though still definitely more challenging). My plan is to get the Master Sword before anything else so the moment I got off the Great Plateau I hit all of the shrines along the way to the Lost Woods and now I'm about two shrines away from having 12 hearts. After I get the sword I'll swing back to Satan and trade in my hearts for stamina and then see where the wind takes me.

I didn't think a second playthrough so close to the first would be as enjoyable as it is. I love this game so much.

I assume you mean Mario Kart Link, not Smash Bros? His chain mail makes me think it's Skyward Sword Link riding it. The rest can just be chalked up to Animal Crossing Villager transcending the laws of time long ago.

Smash Link since Brawl has been using the Twilight Princess Link design/outfit. Mario Kart Link seems to be based on Skyward Sword Link (the blue arm guards with no leather(?) covers are one of the "big" giveaways) with his sword scabbard and handedness flipped (right-handed in SS, left-handed in MK8).

Yeah, looking back at that post, I must've had a massive brain fart. No clue how I made that jump.

Man, having just started this game a week ago, there's sooooooooooooooo much stuff that has been discovered that's it's so crazy trying to catch up. Those advanced combat techniques with the cancels are ridiculously fun looking, but I'm still struggling with parries and killing basic Lynels.

I had trouble with Lynels too. Now I can kill them with ease.

The only parry worth making sure you can do is the Perfect Guard against Guardians. The others are not at all needed to play (and beat) the game, even in Master Mode.

For Lynels - get yourself a high damage two handed weapon. Then shoot them in the face and climb on their back while they are stunned. You should be able to get 5 hits off against them. And you don't lose durability when on they Lynel's back - I've killed tons with my >100 damage Royal Guard claymore, and it still shows the sparkly sign that the weapon is brand new.

BOTW is on it's way to becoming the BEST selling Zelda game of all time...and it's hasn't even been a year in the market.

So I was in the Kah Okeo shrine, which has a tall pillar of bombable stone in the center. I glided over to place a remote bomb on a small ledge next to the pillar, detonated it by mistake while standing next to the bomb and the resulting blast of exploding column sent me up into the ceiling where a glitch allowed me to traverse the entire shrine from above as if walking on a glass floor. Pretty cool, but the only way out was to warp away.

Weird. Which shrine is that again (what is it near)?

I got an update last night (Wii-U version at least). I have no idea what it did, but it definitely didn't fix the armor inventory issue.

Does anyone have any idea what is in that upcoming Zelda book? How is it different from the Encyclopedia that came out a few year's ago? All I find is a description of it, but no actual previews of what is exactly in it. Does it have an updated timeline?

Hyrule Historia wasn't an "encyclopedia" so much as it was a "history" book. The upcoming Encyclopedia is more about defining terms and giving insight/information regarding them (e.g. what the Kokiri are and where they came from), from what I've heard about the Japanese release.

Has there been any inkling of a 2nd DLC pack for this year?
