I love everything about it but the face.

It’s just not right and the third parties did that better.

So I’ll be getting it as soon as budget allows.

Not half bad. Kinda similar to what @Agent 539 has done with his Ironhide.

I think the only way they could've avoided his blue tinted windows becoming green is to paint everything underneath them in white, but I imagine that isn't really possible.


My Sunny is 'awaiting courier delivery' since last night. Today was a Sunday, tomorrow's a bridge holiday so not really sure if they'll be delivering or not. Looks like he didn't even make it in time for Orthodox Xmas haha

 

Might be because the majority of the fans on this website don't read Japanese. The pictures are quite small and can be a little hard to understand if you can't read the accompanying text.

That said, I usually don't read the written instructions  

 

I only got tripped up at the bit were you have to tuck the rear windshield over the folded spoiler, i couldnt tell from the pic to do that and looked at a video

Yeah man Wotafa have saved me from numerous heartache when it comes to transformation. Despite the language barrier, the way he explains in a very concise manner.

 

I just got mine Sunstreaker yesterday and he came with a Targetmaster who I don't know who it is. It maybe a 3rd party one but here are some photos of Sunstreaker.

 

Sometime last year I saw a posting on FB from a diehard MMC fanatic. He called mp 39 Shitstreaker.

This posting was from the MMC fb fanpage. He said MMC should just redo the entire G1 cast for their Ocular Max line.

Hmm..so far not even a single Ocular Max stuff from their scattered releases have caught my attention. So thanks but no thanks lol.

 

The vinyl blue tape does look good. I cannot take the credit for reversing the cardboard inserts for Ironhide and Ratchet. I saw another member in the Masterpiece Appreciation thread display them like that and decided to "borrow" the look.

Sunstreaker is not even in my top 10 favorite characters, but for me this may be the most impressive MP to date. I can't believe how much they packed into the design, with the level of articulation. I'm hoping this means everything in the future will be this detailed.

 

LOL. Ocular Max is a QC riddled line. The guy is not a "fanatic" he probably works for them.

 

That's the FansProject Sidearm targetmaster, that was released as an expansion kit to their Protector armour for Classics Rodimus. That's why he's got those gold chrome wings - they were an addition so that the armour kit would work with the Henkei version of Rodimus, since the base kit only came with the plain orange wings to match Classics Rodimus.

So you used blue tape on the inner surface?

 

No, @djmajin used blue tape for Sunstreaker's windows. I used the windshield insert cards that came with Ironhide and Ratchet and turned them around. For some reason, the white backs really bring out the blue in their windshields.

 

Just that easy.
