Big powered just came in from Mandarake. Gotta love EMS. You all are right, this thing is glorious! Of course, this was the first thing I did. They fit but you not enough to close the canopy. Edit... I took out the steering wheel. He sits much better. I’m afraid to slide the canopy shut cause it might get stuck .
Thanks for the warning! I don't know how many times I've had modern Dianauts get caught in the mechanism of my Diatrain because they don't stay in place when its in Train mode. I'm itching to open my '89 Batmobile but waiting for when I have time to do a 'tube review of how compatible it and the Trek shuttle are with Diaclone. That and I'm still busy obsessing over DA-05, DA-06, and DA-10.
I got my Big Powered last night, man hes great. Also glad that the head reveal gimmick works on mine outta the box, infact the only real flaw i can find on mine is the faceplate pieces are a little loose, so there is a small gap between his faceplate. nothing major. the waiting for him was grueling, I ordered him on December 1st and it arrived on January 1st, thank you Israel Post for holding it for over 2 weeks "waiting for custom inspection" Either way, I'm very happy with my purchase. I think I might even double dip on that I.M.S later this year if its not instantly sold out everywhere.
Anyone able to confirm for me the standard peg sizes used on Diaclone Reboot? The gun parts that peg on diabattles for example are thicker than the weapon pegs used on the mini mechs. So I'm not certain if its 2mm and 3mm or 3mm or 3.5mm or 3mm and 4mm.
This is just screaming out for an "A-Wing Moonbase Version" paint job. Looks like it was made for Diaclone!
seriously?? I can only wonder why TT didn't just stick to 3mm & 5mm ports, like they've doing all this while T_T and wow, there's a LOT of 1:60 scale 'toyline' out there, LOVE it
As mentioned before, they look good with Votoms Actic gear. They also look good with sentinel’s 1/35 Mechatro.
I tried those spots out, and if they were any deeper, they would totally work as attachment points for the da-08/da-09 pinchy claws or the rifles that come with da-02/da-03. It seems like a missed opportunity in a line that has managed to engineer its way into extreme compatibility. My only guess is that there was some sort of structural reason they didn't make the edges of those spots deep enough for equipment attachment. On a side note, your post got me scrambling to find other places to store the bikes. Attached are a few of my bike-solutions for the Diabattler on the go.
