They're twice as much for extra parts some people may not care as much about. Also there is black in the legs, particularly the joints

Yep, I'm happy with the metroplex version   plus I didn't care about the waist cannons or cerebros stuff, so the hands were the only thing I really wanted from the set

Joking, yeah, they seem to be out at most places or instock at stupid high prices. Or just plain some people don't want the full set (I don't want the waist guns but I will hang onto them once I order mine).

 

Who has the best price on DK-02 and DK-04?

 

At least on eBay they all seem to be mostly $10/15 over the retail price. Wish I had picked up the rest of these, only got the Metro hands cause of a deal on them, cause I can't find them for retail price any more.

 

Yeah the Ebay Chinese seller route is more expensive in this case.....who knew? Even netclow's price is higher than US shops. I'll be going the US retail route for these.

Do you have PE Warden? This works okay to let TR Max hold the gun. I had to add a little masking tape to make snug.

 

If you want affordable weapons for Fort Max, I would go with this:

Seems like they'll probably make more, since I'm pretty sure they've sold out and restocked once, or twice since they were originally released. I can't find them in stock anywhere right this second, though.

Ditto. this set is fantastic. I own two sets. the only literal issue with the gun and sword though is that you cannot store them in any of the alt modes. only the robot mode. (as in the peg on the sword handle is a bit thinner than the slot it pegs into, and the gun pegs are too thin to be firmly pegged on the tower in alt mode.

 

So does it come with grey legs or black legs?

 

I got grey legs. As far as I know that's the only option. I put em on and took em off. They don't sit right in head mode without modding them.

 

Sorry for necro-ing the thread. Does anyone know if there's plans to reissue DNA DK-02?
