If you want a big, chunky Optimus Prime that catches your eye every time you glance in that direction, the YES. Best value TF I have ever purchased.

If you're like me and like to pose guys from different lines together, this is the most impressive Prime you'll find. Even as stand alone pieces, I don't think you'll find more eye catching Transformers.

I can't wait for Megatron for him to hang with Skeletor and Shredder, haha

What I’m trying to figure out is if I should buy a second one (prime and megs) to do a custom paint job on. Decisions, decisions.

I've been thinking much the same thing, though not for any custom work but just to keep MISB.

That is one of the most beautiful interpretations of Megatron I've seen - even if it does not transform.

I was waiting for an announcement of this kind, even if it were to just come straight from my pre-order merchant. MAS 1 is absolutely incredible; I'm not disappointed in the MAS 2 delay, he'll be well worth the wait.

I sincerely hope this unexpected Generations sub-line continues past Megatron. I've been wrapping up Titans Return and contemplated Trypticon to finish it off now that I've got my POTP selections coming in, but one look at MAS 1 and I had no problem turning those funds over to him, instead.

Truth is, I'm falling out of favor with Masterpiece, also. I'll spend $200 on a MAS figure over $120 for the next Autobot car, any day of the week.

Here's hoping Hasbro sells enough of these to give Toy Alliance the go-ahead on more figures. Galvatron or Magnus as a MAS would be fucking incredible.

    EVERYTHING HERE.

    EVERYTHING.

I just made payment on MAS-NP01, so I def. can't afford this & it doesn't look *QUITE* as nice, but...

-- it looks AMAZING in its own right!!!!!

This is a seriously cool line, and I'd also be excited to see it continue - and more willing to shell out for Ultra Magnus!!! In this style, Magnus would just be the coolest!

I could see really original takes on 'bots like Ironhide + Jetfire being really cool MAS figures, too!

MAS series def. leading the way for officially-licensed, non-transforming Transformers - along with Flame Toys!

I used to beef on non-transforming TF's, but P38's right - $120 (instead of $60-$80!) is really too much to ask for an MP car, esp. when [it's not designed by Shogo Hasui and] an extra $80 gets you a collection-centering/defining piece like MAS-NP01!
