He is a great figure. Watch the fingers, though. They can pop off easily, but they go right back on. I should actually get around to transforming mine sometime...

Original reviews of the OP-Op version were not kind, stating it fell apart easily?

 

It's fine in robot and in most other modes, but when transforming you have to know what your doing as the joints are thin and the backpack gets loose between stages. In Robot mode though it's very solid. But I broke my first version by trying to transform it wrong. It doesn't transform exactly the way you expect as they have changed things from the old beast wars toy.

 

Does anyone know where I can get a ko g1 scorponok? they used to be up on ioffer, but I cant seem to find them anymore.

 

Any news on the rest of the stuncicon being oversized aside from off road and break down? Really would like a large Menasor and I actually like the look and design of CW Menasor aside from God awful shoulders.

P.S. with WJ or JJ quality. I've seen the menasor on sir toys with hotspot as the body but that's too far towards the cheaper end of the spectrum plastic wise (which don't get me wrong, I love my JB devastator KO for testing out customization and painting on)

My osko diecast hot spot is the bees knees.

Can't recall if it's wei jiang, but my sirtoys fire chief says Wei jiang on the box.



Edit: oh, you're referring to the tfc/fansproject crossover. Yeah, still a worthy piece if you follow the ko'ing oversizing combiners as they learned what worked and what didn't.

 

So far primal prime seems pretty decent, but I got him mostly to be a shelf piece for my 3h wreckers so he admittedly won’t be handled much

 

I have the over size Defensor which I find cool but only combined once and due to space constraints took apart and displayed in bot mode. There's an OS CW breakdown and offroad (which I haven't purchased yet). I'm waiting to see if they OS the rest (at least Motormaster).

Usually when they do they mind if incorporate the upgrade kit stuff so it's pretty awesome. Here's to hoping

 

Yeah, I have the oversized breakdown and offroad... No combiner parts iirc. Still, 2 are better than none.

 

WeiJiang seems to have a few projects on the burner at the moment... their oversized MP Megatron mashup and their enormous Omega Supreme figure, for examples. But I would REALLY like to see them return to the oversized CW stuff, especially for a Bruticus or Superion, and to at least finish their Menasor.

Honestly, they could just start upscaling half the Titans Return Deluxe line, and I'd be all over it.

I'd also be happy with straight repaints of the existing ones they've already released, like black, white, silver, etc versions. A few reprilabels later and we've got brand new characters!

 

It does seem wasteful not to be exploiting the repaint potential in the figures they've already done. Their blue "SWAT Rook" is already a favourite. They should totally be going for some of the other possibilities. Spinister from Blades. A proper Ruckus from Offroad. Maybe some new combinations...
