So how do we install the chinese version?  

 

I would up only getting a silver crown and a gold ballbuster, I mean wallbuster in additional to some other bronze cores and a bunch of resources that I could use because I was maxed out and the damn apes didn't bank them. Ok event I guess as the 3xp was nice, but a fairly lame one TBH.

 

I'd say I lost at least 2 million alloy to the ether, but everything is upgraded so I don't need it anymore. Got two gold chips but one of them was wallbuster. the other was flak jacket, which was nice.

 

I have pulled 2 bronze Razorclaw cores so far, 1st was on my 2nd chip. I researched 3* Razorclaw to level 41 last week in preparation for him getting his own core. His CP is now up to 890 with the core attached. Comboed with Nemesis Prime's ability and Razorclaw is a BEAST (pun intended) when attacking a base.

 

Looks like a prestige event for "chances at" Cosmos/Mindwipe. At least it's not a LB this month...

 

I'm OK with that. I know I won't get jack squat, but it's nice to know that technically I have a chance at a 4*.

 

I find leaderboards to be unfair, how so you ask? If everyone in their respective alliances all work together, they all have a fighting chance. If however players are reaping the awards without participating, you'll be called out immediately. I prefer prestige events any day of the week.

 

Will this be a solo or alliance event?? Tx

 

It's all rumors until tomorrow's vip email goes out, but it'll likely be a standard 60 prestiges alliance event.

Breakdowns:

1000 pts - 100 Spark
2000 pts - 25k Alloy
3000 pts - 100 Spark
4000 pts - 25k Energon
5000 pts - 100 Spark
6000 pts - Tricksters Crystal

Tricksters Crystal contain the following: 2, 3, or 4 star Cosmos/Mindwipe, 50 4* shards, 75 3* shards, or 100 2* shards.

Very nice rewards this time around.

any veterans here can share the actual probability of getting 3/4* bots from the crystals? is it feasible to get 1 4* cosmos if we have 60 crystals?

 

Yes it can happen. I am not sure of the odd. But I know some I have gotten a 4-star some not.

 

I am confused by the new loading screen.
Some members of my Alliance described it, so I assumed (for them) it has gone live.
But my version is still using the Volcanicus/Predaking loading screen.  
And no update is available in the store.
Does the update release vary by geographical region and my country simply hasn't got it yet?

Cosmos' special ability looks interesting, I'm going to enjoy using that one!  
It's similar to Swoop's multitargeting attack, but with a slow rate of fire.
However, the cost of using it is power point intensive, so I guess it's going to be something I can only use strategically for precision.
Because when I tested it with frequent use, 3 attacks and all the power points were consumed.

I am wondering if we might be seeing the Terrorcons ingame at some point.
The Power of the Primes toy release list has them on it, but the only one unlockable so far is Hun-Gurr.
My local specialist retailer says the Dinobot toys will be on their ordering system in 2 weeks, but not sure when they will be released.

I've only gotten one 4* unlock from the event crystals, a Drift.
That was in the first 2 or 3 crystals and was not repeated from the Drift crystals.
I do not remember how many I had, but it definitely wasn't 60, maybe 30.
So based on that, I assume it's more random chance then number of crystals that affects the acquisition of 4 star unlocks.

Every other event, I've mostly gotten 2 stars, I think the only 3* I received was Sludge.
So I assumed 2* is the average unlock, based on my personal experience.
But I should point out other players get different/better unlocks, so my track record should not be considered standard or typical.

 

Hound, smokescreen, slog and second gnaw event: i got 3*. The hound event I was in a lowby alliance and got maybe 20 prestiges. I likely would have had a 4* with a completed event.

Kup and my first gnaw: 2* only.

Drift event gave me a 4* on the second crystal. No repeats. Three 3* pulls, total of about 20 bots and the rest resources.


It’s all about luck and the drop rate that is determined by SA. I’ll guess that it’ll be low, like with Kup. They’ve been getting more and more stingy with event chances.

Personally I’m not all that impressed with his ability...in use he focused on one target until it died, it would have been nice for a shorter duration with random attacks that hack more than one building. As it stands he’s a flying perceptor with much shorter range and a riskier finish putting him down on top of a defense cluster to die. Perhaps if it’s easy to target swoop/scourge it may be of some use.

If I get a 4*, I’ll want two more to finish my 5* to feel mich value came from the event aside from the spark and shards.

 

Well I have been through 11 of these types events, and there were 8 of them where I only got the 2*. So I wouldn't get your hopes up for even the 3*.

But there's always someone who will get all three versions in an event, so technically it is possible.

 

Tx for the info. I'm not optimistic on my chances then. The 20 chances last event only yield 1 bronze grimlock crown, some bronze chips, and just resources. =/.

 

We have Hot Rod and Kup ingame, so when can we expect the third member of their group, Blurr?
I wonder what special ability he might have.
Perhaps he would zoom around in car mode at superspeed ramming through random targets until the ability times out.

 

I lucked into a 4* version in one of these events. It's not likely at all, but it's easier for a lower tier alliance to get one this way.
