It's actually just cardboard I get from the art shop. It's light and easy to swap out / trim to fit my setup, plus inexpensive to replace when it wears down. Only problem is if a figure balances poorly it gets all dinged up really quickly.
The only Legends headmaster I preferred over Titans Return. The head and deco is just so nicely done.
This is my Chromedome! The G1 head is fantastic and was the main selling point for me. Knew I could trust Takara to do G1 Chromedome right.

But lets me do a few jumping action shots, and happily takes Voyagers.
Meh. I really dislike this mold for Chromedome. Head and alt mode aside, nothing about it really looks like Chromey. the shoulders are just wrong, the arms themselves look too stumpy, the legs are way too bulky and have the Alternators Optimus prime knees that are so far up the boot they just look dumb. oh and, seriously? a faux chest? for Chromedome? the most iconic thing about his design is the hood chest, and they just stuck it on the back lazily instead. and the fake chest doesn\'t even look good! at least the paint\'s nice i guess, and i will not deny that that Headsculpt is ace. its just so frustrating because all the other autobot Headmasters from this line(with the possible exception of Brainstorm) feel like they were made for that mold, while chromey feels like hes a half arsed retool, even though he isn\'t. I guess Code is still my only option for a chug Chromey. rant over, move along.
Yeah, this was the only Takara/Tomy version I got out of the Titans Return line. I had Chromedome as a kid and I'm a diehard Headmasters series fanatic so this Chromedome was a must have for me. Everything else was Hasbro for me. Well, Hasbro plus the 3P replacement faces for the core Autobot and Decepticon Headmasters.
