For those that got him already, does his nosecone still fall off during transformation or has that been remedied since the test shots?

 

Just got my notice from Toybot Importz (oz) that Meteor is on his way. Finally!!!!

 

Those weren't test shots those were finished final products. And it doesn't fall off, it unclips because they deliberately designed it to so it doesn't break is my understanding. I don't think it effects either mode at all.

 

It doesnt fall off, but it does come off relatively easily.

 

I'd buy a pair of better hands and a fitting coronation set for him!

 

Too bad this guy isn't $80-90.......

 

NIce. Aren't the Decepticon insignias supposed to be upside down?

Exactly this. You can transform him without it coming off if you're careful. I've managed it in both directions; it's a little easier going from bot to jet. MT supposedly designed it that way so that the part comes off instead of breaking. Another use, if you're cool with partsforming, is to remove the nose and clean up his back in robot mode.

Yes in the cartoon, no on the G1 toy. So technically either way is correct.

Yes. I am hoping I can do a longer stop motion story with him where he changes them. That is why I put them on this way.

 

What I'd like to know is when are Thundercracker and Skywarp coming?

 

I wish Howling Meteor was compatible with the MP03 stand...

 

I don't mind partsforming when it's intentional, or if it doesn't affect a major part of the figure.
