    I also have the backpack issue.

    Although it being annoying, I’ve overlooked it due to the sheer awesomeness of this figure.

    I asked for my refund the day after the Facebook post, filed a Paypal dispute the following Monday, finally got my refund yesterday. I call bullshit on his whole "working through the refunds" line.

    It does not take two weeks to issue a refund unless you're incompetent or you don't have the funds. I suspect the latter. He responded to my PP claim on the 15th, stalling for time, when he could have just initiated the refund right then.

    I would never consider ordering from GCI for anything after this experience.

    Paypal? Just file a dispute and let Paypal deal with it...


    Yeah, not worth the headaches to save a few bucks when there are so many other outstanding vendors...

    Congrats man. I was toying with the same idea, plus using some credit card points... but then I saw FT-10 Phoenix on sale for $170 and decided to jump on that first. I think this guy will have to wait till 2018.

    It's for the light issue, in my email I didn't report the backpack issue. At the end my terminus is standing on my shelf without problems, the backpack problem is not disturbing me, he also solved a rubik cube:) :)

    Woot, a fellow cuber, are you? I'm doing a 7X7 now, takes me an hour to solve it though. But a 3X3 takes me 1 minute. It's a Terminus thread so I gotta mention his name.

    From his photos, it looks like one box, maybe two, of Part B got tore up. And mostly just shipping box damage, with one product box that looks busted. If it's the entire shipment, yeah, it would help to see a photo of the entire shipment. I mean, you're taking photos anyway to send to the shipping company for claims purposes, and you took the effort to upload those 3-4 photos of one (maybe two) Part B boxes so it's minimal effort to show the rest of the alleged damaged shipment. It would also be pretty impressive for an entire shipment to get wrecked outside of perhaps the shipper's transportation vehicle getting in a serious accident. Reading the comments on that fb post, allegedly the shipper didn't even deliver all of them because some were so trashed. I don't get that either. Why would the shipper only deliver part of a shipment if the whole shipment was damaged. And why would the shipper take the responsibility of deciding what is or isn't salvagable? That would seem to be a determination for the receiver to make. Seems messy all around. Wish them the best figuring it all out.

    I am just a beginner, I have learned the easiest method (I need more or less 3 minutes to complete the cube, starting from the orange side).
    However, I am waiting for the Fanstoys answer, I don't know if I have to pay shipping costs for my replacement part.

    My personal experience with freight companies.


    - There is zero communication with the carrier office.
    - if there is a damaged bundle. The driver is blabbing about it and telling you how it was like that when they loaded it before he opens the door to his mp10
    - the full load is out of primes trailer before you have the chance to say anything.

    In businesses of this type and the size of these shipments there is not I will take few and get my money back on the rest. These are delivered free on board (FOB) destination. If you are GCI you have maybe $10K or more invested in the shipment and the freight. You cannot safely know how much was damaged or not. Every single business in that case will just refuse the shipment because that is your only recourse where you know you are getting your money back.

    I'm rolling the dice and took his offer to get the December reissue in one box. We'll see how this transaction goes, and I still have time to do a Paypal dispute if it comes to that. I had fairly decent communication with him, other than an initial couple day delay, but that was because it was a weekend.
