I picked TFSource and The Chosen Prime. Both are awesome, but I tend to use TFSource the most since I have a shit ton of points to use. I do use BBTS for figures I missed and S.H. Figures and Marvel stuff for my boys.

I have also purchased from Toydojo, Agesthreeand up and TF-Direct and I have had great experiences. You really can't go wrong with any of them and it does vary when items come in sooner than others.

I say for someone trying to decide on a retailer, look at something that can give you points or discounts.

I mostly buy from ebay since I don't like preordering (prefer to wait for in hand reviews) and the postage from Chinese ebay sellers usually makes it at least even with the stores.

I actually buy from 3 places. I usually pre-order everything I REALLY WANT and know I won’t cancel at TFSource. I just really like how I can go in myself to add and delete pre-orders freely. Makes shopping with them feel effortless and less stressful.

Recently, I’ve been buying from Agabyss because firstly, they have the best prices. Secondly, they ship extremely fast to me. Thirdly, I don’t rush to buy most figures anymore, so I can wait for Agabyss to get them in-stock.

Finally, The Chosen Prime. I will buy from them if they get things in-stock first before the other two places. They ship fast too, so this means I get it super quick.

Kapowtoys - I'm in Poland, so shipping from the UK (the EU in general) is fairly cheap, and no customs are involved. Good customer service, and I really cannot recommend them enough. If there aver were any issues, Andy and co. always were more than fair and honest.
TFS-Express if a Kapow don't carry an item I want.
BBTS is it's not available with either of these sellers. Although their shipping takes ages, the customer service department is helpful and nice.

BBTS here. I order so much other stuff through them that it doesn't make sense to go anywhere else. So what if somebody else might have something a couple days earlier or ship a couple dollars cheaper? What matters is that I can put in a preorder and not have to fight uphill both ways to actually get it.

I do like Captured Prey as well. It's just...the fight the industry has turned collecting into, it's about more than TransFormers now. That is in no way suggesting Orson should branch out. He has his niche and it's working for him.

I have no idea what people actually found wrong with their site. It was not hard to find information; in fact, not being a JScript MVC SOA nightmare made it super fast to navigate. At least their search engine changed to finally find partial words, even though sometimes you can run the same search twice (some of their links are searches) and find different results.

I don’t know what jscript mvc soa means but it was an ugly site and the search engine didn’t work well. Plus the pics were always low-res and the image viewer didn’t always work well. Sometimes I would search for an item but it wouldn’t come up, but when I went to the 3P category and clicked the company that made it the item WOULD come up.

    JScript - JavaScript
    MVC - Model View Controller
    SOA - Service Oriented Architecture

Lots of layers, lots of duplication, lots of lag, lots of "oops, something happened."

I like the _visual_ overhaul but people often confuse how a program looks with how it functions.

    Thanks for the breakdown.

I never confuse how it looks with how it functions, even if I have no idea what’s under the hood, but visuals are important to me and to many others, especially when it comes to having good product shots. However the search engine problems that I mentioned were the biggest issue for me. If I search for “enterprise d” and what I want doesn’t come up, but when I go to eaglemoss’ section on their site and THEN I see it, that’s a problem. (Not saying that happened with that particular product, it’s just an example)

I prefer Chosen Prime because they are local, and each purchase and preorder has a set amount of customer points that can be used to save on shipping.

Actionrobo most often for me with third party stuff. Best prices and shipping for me most of the time, and they've been really responsive with any issues I've had.

I still like to use BBTS for main line Hasbro figures, because of loyalty, non-Transformer selection and the ease of use of the Pile of Loot. And pretty much all of my Masterpiece figures I'll still order through hlj which is consistently the best price for me.

Toy Dojo is my new favorite. They always seem to ship in stock items the day I order (given its early enough in the day), and they have great customer service.

BBTS used to be my go to, but they just seem to get things slower now than ever. They have great customers service and their preorder setup is nice. I have never been done wrong by them, I am just a bit more impatient.

    Well, color me impressed.
I was expecting my Battle Hornet sometime next week. It came in today... and in perfect condition.

Normally I’d have gone thru Rub, but I didn’t see Battle Hornet on his list. Plus Show Z had a sale, plus I grabbed an additional $4 Ali coupon. So I snagged a $50 figure for $41 with free shipping and a faster than expected shipping time.

My Peru Kill was shipped from tfsource a week after many other users got theirs in-hand, it was shipped via ups ground from California, so I won’t get it for ANOTHER week... I don’t think I can shop with them anymore due to them being cross-country from me (I’m in NY).

I support mainly TCP and GCI Toys. Others if I find a sale. TCP for the bulk of my business. Few companies I go with GCI such as TFC and Fans Hobby

I didn' say why. Brandon and William have come through for me for figures I couldn't find anywhere else.

TCP: Reward points, free shipping, and great customer service

GCI Toys: Nice to support a local store, price, and great customer service

tfsource has been the single online retailer I have made the most purchases from, because they have offered free shipping over $150 for a long time, they had the source points program which recently was vastly improved to actually offer cash discounts, and they're shipping to where I live is pretty quick. But my preferred sellers are toy dojo and agabyss.com. I also order sometimes from hlj. I have made a few orders with chosen Prime and captured prey and had good experiences, in one case there was an issue but there was good communication and satisfactory resolution. I also order from BabaBobo, netClow, and JohosonTony off of eBay as well as show Z, usually through rub deals but even before that. all of these sellers I can recommend.
