Hey guys start checking Walgreens.I found the Cloudracker/Wingspan pack at the Walgreens on Jeff Road in Monrovia.
POTP deluxes at Opelika Target. They're in the back, but the customer service was really nice about getting them out. Brickseek was actually accurate about that one. They opened up a new box when I got there, so I can tell you that as of now, they've got one Swoop, one Slug (not Slag), one Jazz, and two Dreadwinds left. On the shelves, they had a Triggerhappy, a Krok, a Quake, a Chromedome, a Scourge, a Twinferno, a bunch of Cosmoses (Cosmi?), a bunch of Seasprays, a Broadside in a dented box, and a bunch of titan masters. The last of those included Shuffler, Nightbeat, Skytread, and Repugnus.
Thank you for that! Walked right into the Hoover WG and found about 4-5 of them. For those heading that way, they aren’t on the shelf with the deludes and oversized cyberverse (not sure what they’re called atm). Turn around, they are on the opposite shelf with the other added Christmas toys. Edit: just to clarify, I “found” 4-5 of them, but I only bought one, so plenty left.
Anyone know if the Florence,Ala Walgreens have this 2 pack in their stores. If they do let know cause I need a set myself so I can track down to get a set.
Oh, it's happening sweet heart. I only found the one at that store. On another note I found the Prime Wars Deluxe at the Decatur Target this morning. Grabbed Swoop and Slug.
I picked up a Slug, Swoop, and Jazz at the Decatur Target tonight. You have to ask for them to get them out of the back using the DCP code (check the Tennessee forums for details). I think I got the last of the Dinobots, but there was at least one more Jazz and several Dreadwinds.
Yep, so did I thanks to this board I tried the Target on 72 Madison with the DCPIs, they were nice as hell !! not for example like.... the horrible monsters at the local TRU... THIS is how you treat people spending money at your ( gigantic mega corporate feudal masters') store. Not only did they run the numbers for me, found the case in the back, they told me how many total they had when they were supposed to get more, asked me which ones we wanted, got me one of each out of the case brought it to customer service, looked all over the weekly ad, the shelf tags AND the Target website until they could justify giving me the buy 1 get 1 50 percent sale which they then did getting me the entire wave for 39 bucks after I used an old gift card with some scratch left over on it from some Christmas decoration returns. And nothing happens in a vacuum, my son was sick Sunday and Monday. ( I sometimes feel like TRU for example again exclusively hires people who have never achieved reproduction in their never ending quest to alienate the customer base IE parents and be as out of touch and disrespectful as they possibly can to the people who, you know are supposed to be their focus but I digress) Staying up with a sick 6 year old all night Sunday and Monday had the wife totally exhausted yesterday while WHILE staying home and needing to be alert and on top of things to take care of our MANIACAL 2 year old who of course is up at the ass crack of dawn every day acting like a rabid zoo animal... by the time I got home from work yesterday she was about to collapse. So I took the boys off her hands and gathered food order preferences ... went to a take out spot there right by Target, walked over to the Target to check on POTP while we were waiting on the food. Watching reviews and hyping the POTP deluxes for a while now had the 6yo especially well informed and excited about Dreadwind and Jazz. When we got to the Target Service desk and I was wrangling two battlebeasts in human form while asking the workers/ fine professional Target team members for help. Once they brought them out the 2 year old sees the packaging, sees Slug and immediately goes Dinosaur/ Transformer crazy repeating those two words as fast as he can and grinning ear to ear ...as recanted above the Target professionals went above and beyond to help me/ us out and got us not only a sought after and imminently scalp-able toy ( tru guys would be scalping them out of the back of the store to " The Deep" until they were overwhelmed by so many cases that the comic shops aren't interested anymore and most of us have bought online... for an inflated cost plus shipping.. and the wave and question would be already pegwarming everywhere else) BUT at a discount promotion we were arguably allowed or not to even be participating in all while being friendly and fun and overall facilitating a very good mood and vibe that spilled over to the kids who had a good time, got new toys they were excited about and went home to actually eat ( parents know what a challenge THAT can sometimes be with kids that age) a decently nutritious and tasty meal that mommy did not have to plan prepare or clean up after while being exhausted and likely getting sock herself. Overall a win of a trip at a much needed time all made possible by retail employees acting like human beings instead of cogs in an intolerable impediment to toy purchasing that most brick and mortar locations have become.
My wife spotted those for me last night at the WG at tillmans corner. They were across the isle opposite of where the regular toys are at...close to the middle.
Opelika Walgreens had the clone sets (2) as well as that other line of TFs. Prowl, Optimus, and Bumblebee (1 each).
I found the Walgreens clone set at the Semmes store. I only saw the one I bought. I didn’t have to go to Tillman’s corner. Thanks for the area heads up TheDoctor. Plus the lady that checked me out, had a great story about her grandson with transformers.
Opelika Walmart had Slugslinger, Hot Rod, Kup, Residual wave 1.5 TR deluxes, voyager TR Megatron, TR Cosmos, and a TLK display.
