The reported QC issues scared me away from MPM04.
So, I preordered MB Revenge Optimus and Jetfire instead.

I really, really hate being 'that guy' that announces he'll be waiting on the KO but for MPM's I would feel almost foolish to blindly buy into them after Bee and Prime turned out the way they did. I hope HasTak can sort out the issues because these I wanna get into. I feel like a turd not supporting the line but... c'mon. Also movie blackout when.

 

He's so bought and the KO will be used to be repainted just like i'm busy with the LT Wasp.... MPM mb-ex is in progress....as we speak

 

Why is he priced at $109 when bee averaged 80 to 90 bucks (depending on where you bought him)?

Incorrect, Takara bee was $99.99 at the places barricade is $99.99 and $109.99 at the places barricade is $109.99

If you want $80, either buy from the likes of HLJ, or take the risk that you’ll be able to track the hasbro version down at TRU.

Which is exactly how much the hasbro version of barricade will be if he shows up on TRU.com

The version up for preorder right now is Takara. Takara bumblebee was between $99.99 and $109.99 from US based etailers.

tbh qc isnt an issue for me. Its the fact that they screw up with the over all look

Bumblebee is the wrong color, alt mold, The lower wings look lazy and the cannon came out bad.
Optimus Prime has a crappy looking alt mode, The swords are too big and the gun is too small, The head looks off and makes his eyes to slant looking.

Both have bad proportions like Primes head being too small, bumblebees chest being too big, and both come with nothing else to make them fun to display like a small Allspark so you can have Bumblebee recreate the scene where he makes the Allspark smaller and shoulder cannons for when he rekts smash brothers brawl on longarm and a space pillar you can display him it knocking down and Prime could have come with an extra gun like a barrage cannon and the hooks he used in the forest battle.

What annoys me is how much shit the g1/bw stuff come with and barricade doesn't even get a frenzy action figure.

Optimus head size looks perfectly fine when the qc issues are fixed and the chest can collapse all the way. And how is his alt mode scrappy looking? Qc issues aside, the only thing that separates it from screen accuracy is the slightly too small tanks.

Mpm Bee is the only transforming Bee figure who's chest is even close to the right size so I don't see how you're complaining about that.

All three of the mpms revealed so far have the most screen accurate proportions we've gotten out of a transforming figure yet.

 

The front doesn't have the orange, There are gaps all over the truck, The gas tanks, the windows all of that is what is wrong with the truck mode.

tbh what really makes bumblebee look bad is how the Camaro model they choose has a bigger bumper and how the way the hood doesnt transform just like the movie.

 

MPM3 is not the correct model Camaro and the cannon accessory sucks, but I would argue besides those 2 things, it is an excellent figure

 

That's my #1 disappointing gripe I have with this figure. I hope we get a reason why there's no Frenzy in future updates.

I'd be on Hasbros side with these are likely designed in a certain price point and Frenzy was out of the budget with licensing fees. Possibly some to Paramount as well as Saleen.

 

That I can believe. And unfortunately TT has not shown any proof nor any initiative (thus far) to add that extra little something to bump up their own previously released of MPM's to MP levels of accessories.

Why the flying F'ing &@#$ would they care about adding a small hunk of plastic to be included with this figure?! It doesn't even need to incorporated into the vehicle mode at all! 
Just include the damn Frenzy, already! 
At this rate I can guarantee that MPM Blackout will NOT include a mini Scorponok!
