So you just need a season 1 style generic face, scaled for Leader-class helmets.

Gorgeous handsome visage there, Trent, I have a cheeky question though, if it's another quick job please could you possibly look into a convertor handle for Twinferno/Grotusque's combined gun that maybe slots over the stock handles to anchor a more central grip peg?

Sir, you a hero - thank you. Any recommendations on which is the best material from Shapeways for your TM faces? It's been so long since I've used Shapeways that their materials look to have come on nicely :)

Black Acrylate is the best combination of durability and detail. Frosted Ultra and Extreme are a little more brittle but it shouldn't be a problem for any of the TM faceplates, since they're not going to be used as hinges, etc. Anything you plan on giving to a kid should be in strong and flexible, preferably strong and flexible premium.

I'll need to track down my twinferno, but that shouldn't be too tricky.

Thank you. I will go with Black Acrylate as it seems to be the material that has the best finish to it.

Thanks again and I can't wait to see how it looks on Skycrusher.

I'm using tinkercad. I set the size at 7" tall, 6" wide & 2" deep. The site says it is ready to be printed. But the bound box has a red X. I emailed them & they say "it's too small", that's it, no more info. So I'm not sure what's too small.

I'm going to email them again & try to get more info.

Any plans of getting more BMOGs up on the Shapeways store? I was goofing around with Brainsaw and the Chainbill Splatterpuss yesterday and would love to add more of these guys to my collection.

I'd love to see updated chestmasters for the POTP deluxes, modeled after the targetmasters you made a while back.

Your units are most likely conflicting. I recommend converting your workspace to mm and choosing that option when you're uploading.

There are plans, but I'm having to start over in several areas because of Alex passing. It's a priority for early 2018.

Hadn't heard about your BMOG teammates passing, Trent, my condolences on your (and his family's) loss.

Is there a faceplate for Scorpanok anywhere? Too expensive to track down Grotusque just for a titan master

Ok, thanks! I'll give it a try.

I keep forgetting to email Shapeways. I was all fired up but then hit this wall & now it's going to take some serious effort to get back into it.

sorry if this is a bad place to ask, but it seems to be the most looked at shapeways related thread. i was curious to if there is a reason more designers dont make stuff available in the coated sandstone material, especially heads/faces? is the material not as good? mainly curious because it would negate the need for painting and the coated version of the material could give off a smoother look. just curious is all :)

From what I've heard it's a fragile material that's only really good for static items. It isn't durable to handle anything with moving parts or that will be used with moving parts.
