I broke down and decided to use the head that came with the kit after all. I liked the fact that it has a "neck" and can look up and down.

Last may, i got from BBTS my PC-03G Set for the G2 Superion

I didnt had the full figure then, but i opened the Upgrade to check the contents, and at the time, i didnt notice it was missing the Crotch Connector from the Breast Plate

On saturday i finally got Superion and when i was testing the Upgrade, i couldnt clip the Breast Plate since it was missing that piece

Already contacted BBTS, but they cant help anymore since they are long sold out of the set... and just offered $5 in store credit

What should i do? Is there any contact email for Perfect Effect? Just found their Facebook and droped a message

Should i ask BBTS for that piece from the regular set (they still have a few in stock)

 

The red piece will stick out like a sore thumb, but that may be your only option for support from a vendor, besides checking on ebay or buy/sell forum here for the chest plate.

 

Yeah, i know, although i can always paint it  

 

If you can't get a replacement piece it might be cheaper to get the KO set and take the part from that, could sell the head too.

I didnt know that set was KOed... i though only the hand/feet

Either way, i talked with BBTS about the normal set and they are giving me that replacement instead, so not a total loss after all!

What are the chances some company KOs the head and chestplate kit? I missed out on the original and it seems to have universally sold out....

 

Does this help? With the PE feet they're a little taller then CW Devey's bottom chest piece.

 

So I’ve been looking for a PC-03 set forever now. Scouring ebay and anywhere and a KO company is now making it as well as the Menasor kit with chest, head and sword extension. Both are in G1 and G2 colors and only $15-20 free shipping depending on who you find. I picked up PC-O3 G1 colors and just got him. Took about two weeks. I’m working so I can’t attach them till later but first glances:

Plastic seems fine. It’s KO plastic which ain’t too far off from some of perfect effect stuff especially their earlier stuff.

The chest piece is nicely painted and feels good.

The head is okay from what I can tell. The antennae were reversed but was an easy fix. Paint isn’t great. Faceplate sides visor isn’t well painted but it’s an easy one to fix. Very hard to turn faces.

Set is called AMO PC-03 if anyone who hadn’t gotten the original is interested.

 

I've got two of those sets and they are okay for the price. The head does not click in place on the neck peg on both sets so it sits very loosely until I find a fix for them. Also the top half of the head does not seem to sit flush with the bottom half. I may try to disassemble the head to see if there is a way to fix it.

 

Yeah my head doesn’t fit on too. The connection is too wide. Not the end of the world. If I want I could fix that but the head was never the selling point for me it always the chest piece. I’ve always been happy with the Hasbro head, I’ve prefer Superion with red eyes and a mouth plate.

Yep, that's my goal is to give superion the mouth plate and computron the face. Just a matter of making time to fix the neck post. I too like the hasbro head, but having the ability to "look" up is a nice feature. For the computron custom, I'm going to try to paint it up jus like the perfect effect pc 11 head.

 

Stuck with the stock head over the PE one, just with an added twist; took the darker faced Betatron head. Never liked the bright silver face, even on the Takara version. Only wish that Silverbolt didn't have the Autobot symbol on the outer piece as I would've put a reprolabel on the center section.

But the chest upgrade is mandatory for him IMO. Stock Superion's tiny chestplate looks weak and pathetic without it.



The PE head I would probably still use though... if I ever get a CW G2 Superion set, just to distance him further from G1 Superion.

 

I have just the arms and feet. The head looks OK. I'm not thrilled about spending more on CW if I'm going to switch to FT or ZT for a MP version.

 

I went ahead and ordered the AMO kit.

To be clear... The chest is cool but, the head attachment is too wide and loose?
