So I put my order in before the price drop. It sucks but I couldn't sit at the computer anymore. But at least I got my Minerva, for less than I thought I would spend. That kit was so expensive on the aftermarket.

Yeah, the lack of funpub is going to hurt. Getting great discounts is great but I'd rather pay more and them still be around. As far as the numbers? Honestly I played myself on them, I ended up missing out on things that "for sure won't sell out soon" then resellers buy 20-40 at a time and I lost . If I hadn't known the numbers, I'd have just bought them then and there.
I ended up going for the Pretenders. I'm holding off on the Most Wanted set for the next round of discounts. EDIT: These things are moving fast. I got the Most Wanted set too.
I'm shocked they didn't do that from the start, though if they weren't selling here discounted, they won't sell there for full price... oh well, I was considering them... Trying to make up my mind on the Pretenders still... I don't really want Optimus though, and don't really care about Megatron that much either... Nova Prime might sell out by next week, but Blastcharge looks like he'll be around still... if i decide I need an unpainted toy... i think mostly I just want to buy something to buy something, and that's stupid.
Finally! Actually got everything I was waiting for. Now to fill my cart up with all of the, "if they're cheap enough" items for next week.
Yep. I was going to buy a bunch of TFCC Magazine back issues/comics - about 40 or so - until I saw the shipping was going to be around $35. No thanks. I did buy the knight 3-pack though. Mainly for the Apelinq. If anybody is interested in the Alpha Trizer or Flare Up let me know! Anybody buy the Machine Wars set and not want the Strika? Let me know!
I got a blastcharge to throw on my updated vehicon shelf with mmc titanika (strika), mmc Oberon (obsidian), bm mega tankor, bm deluxe jet drone and tr quake. Was gonna get the obsidian and strika lithographs but the shipping on them is like 5x what it cost to ship blastcharge
So, after a few attempts to get the order in (after having to remove the 2 Human Arcees & 1 Rodimus), I was able to get it to go through. In the rush to remove/refresh/re-key card info only to have to remove/refresh/reattempt to get the less expensive FedEx Home Delivery to appear (instead of the Priority that doubled the price), I saw the final $amount spent on the 'your order has placed' screen was just shy of $400. And at this point in time, I don't feel satisfied with it all. Perhaps things'll change after I've had time to decompress (or open the packages come next week). Oh well, last week's purchase came yesterday afternoon and I took them all out the shipping box last night. Perhaps some time transforming them will induce a change of heart.
Got the Pretender set even though I'm not even sure I want it but couldn't pass it up at that price. Glad I didn't wait for another price drop!
I own just about everything except a few custom class figures that funpub has put out and paid the club price or more and have no complaints about doing so. It's sad to see them go, Ive had my gripes about location and venue a few times but the staff and everyone involved made me quickly forget my minuscule issues I had.
Anyone want to go halves on a loose Most Wanted set. I only want Oil Master and Battletrap. Had pretenders in my cart but when I tried to check out they were gone. Anyone want to sell the Megatron shell for $25. Need it for a custom, don't even need the inner figs.
