Honestly, Jazz is the weakest in the wave IMO, but he's still pretty great. Makes an awesome leg or an arm at least (DO NOT SAY 'JAZZ HANDS', T-HYBRID XD) Basically unpainted grimlock is the hot toy of the season, though! Who would have thought the overpriced collector line would stagnate in repaints? It is kind of a bummer, as wave 1 was the WORST for TLK, and figures like Scorn and Nitro and Sqweeks and Voyager Megs are all REALLY GOOD. Heck, even the new OP and Hound are super fun. I'm just bummed I won't get to a see a Cogman most likely. Now I'm just itching to get the rest of PotP. Like, the combiner aspect isn't my favorite, but the versatility of the line is really appealing. The fact that the combiner hands work as armor and shields and combiner torso fillers is just slick, and the fact that even the little filler plugs on the hands are molded to be pistols is a really fun attention to detail that makes the line have all kinds of killer crossplay. I've had my deluxes on SkyReign since last night, and he looks great. I wonder what PE will do with this one...
He tried the Jazz-hands line on me too... Thanks for picking them (minus Jazz) up for me @T-Hybrid . I'm back in town from vacation. Definitely like these figures!
Shakopee Target had a Twinferno as of last night. They directed me to Chaska for POTP figures. Went there tonight and picked up Dreadwind and the dinobots. Skipped Jazz though I like the vehicle mode. Reminds me of Turbo and Crasher from Gobots. I still haven't seen Ramhorn, Overlord, Misfire, or Slugslinger. Well I saw Misfire once at Hot Comics (Richfield) for $25 but passed. Speaking of which, someone unloaded a collection of Prime/Beast Hunters there and they are selling cheap. $10 Deluxe, $15 Voyager. I grabbed Hot Shot and Voyager BH Optimus. First Editions they are asking for more. They also had the Asia exclusive Generations like Springer and Swerve as of last weekend.
Apple Valley Wal-Mart has 4x Drift, 5x slug, 2 Steelbane and 2 squeeks on peg and a load more in overstock
Got lucky and nabbed the last Squeeks from that dank pit they call Northtown Wal Mart. Love this toy! Spoiler
Man, I have had sqweeks on my desk for a few months now, and while I don't like the character, I'm having a really hard time cycling him and Scorn back to the home collection. TLK has had a lot of duds, but the good figures in that set are REALLY good.
PotP Dinobots acquired! After work I drove to the Champlin Target and was able to get them after mentioning to the customer service ladies that other people were getting the figures as "Set Date" was not a "Street Date" and show some posted from the forum here. After transforming them a bit, I find Swoop is my favorite of the two, though I wish his dino head clipped onto his robot head a bit better (I guess I'm spoiled by my Fans Toys MP Swoop). Slug (Slag) looks like a big grey potato. XD If he had his wings, I think it would have filled out his robot mode a bit better. Also if his triceratops frill could expand maybe. But whatever, NEW DINOBOTS! I can't wait for Snarl and Sludge as I had them both as a kid!
Are they $19.99 at Wal-Mart? I wouldn't mind a Squeeks. The only reason I'd get Steelbane is because, if you buy all of the beast Generations figures from the last two movies you technically have all 12 Knights of Cybertron. Do you know if that included Sharkticon Megatron? I've had an on-again off-again relationship whenever I've seen it. Reminds me of a Seacon.
... anyone want a Predacus and Terrorsaur for a relative steal provided I can buy the Airrazor from you?
I didn't see Sharkticon Megatron there but I did see one over the summer. I can't remember where though. Possibly Cedar Cliff Collectibles or the Hot Comics further North. They have a location in Jordan now too.
