Same here, but I like his earlier look as well. I don't like the movies, but I always liked the design for Barricade. I'll have to pick this up!

 

I still don’t get why people get so orgasmic over Human Aliance figures. Yeah, they’re big, but they have to accommodate extra non-screen weaponary so they don’t end up any more accurate in transformation or sculpt than the corresponding deluxes. Some are nice, like the twins (though Skids has the inaccurate door wings) and Sideswipe (though Sidearm Sideswipes more accurate), but others are a mess, such as Jazz and Soundwave.

 

Easy pass for me. I’m kind of relieved

If you showed me an unlabeled picture of this and asked me what it was I’d say leader class figure.

Dunno about others, but for me the sculpts on these HA figures feel way more mature than what we got now. It's like they were designed by a mature designer, who knew precisely what he was doing, but had a ton of restrictions, whereas now they no longer have so many restrictions but the new designers don't really know what they are doing (they are copying the transformations from multiple figures, but when it comes to the sculpt they don't know how to interpret details, so they copy from the CAD files, ignoring the fact that detail is lost or is plain wrong looking on a toy.

vehicle mode is spot-on. i like it, but the blue on the lower portions is throwing me off. ive seen TF\'s the movie seventeen billion times, i dont recall any blue accents. no frenzy that sucks. if they can include prime with the matrix, why not include barricades little buddy...
