For combiner wars I went takara for computron, bruticus and grand galvatron, for Titans Return I’ve gone takara for sharkticons to get the sweep heads and kickback to get the Clouder head and god Ginrai but that’s about it

Slightly worryingly for UK fans there's no Prime Master listings there.

It's FP so you can't be 100% sure if they're sourcing locally or internationally but given that Titanmasters disappeared in the UK with Wave 2 I'm not hopeful.....

 

I wanted to go Takara for Computron too, but the I saw a Warbotron one for less.

 

Might be the fact the Dinobots are not in the same scale together since a lot of people wanted them to be in Voyager size.

proportionally its more like fists at his stomach, for them to be in his arm pits they would have to be facing the opposite direction  

 

Well i had hoped they would have done both groups the way they should have.
I love Pretenders, don't care about Primes much but i would have loved a cool Onyx dragon or a Quintus who might have given us a basebody for lots of Quintessons or a Liego Maximo.
I the end neither of us got what they wanted.
Here's a thought: maybe a little less hate and a little more interest in parts of the franchise you aren't familiar with might get us the toys we want in the future.

In several cases the inner robots aren't that far off. Just smaller, and don't have vehicle mode. Skullgrin even has the tank treads down his legs

That's true, but if (this is just fantasy after all) Wei Jiang would upsize the shells they might be tempted to give them inner robots that transformed into something resembling the G1 altmodes (updated versions of course).

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for the people who like them, and I'll try to get the ones who look cool, but I'm really not sure how to give Hasbro the message that I want more Primes and more non full size G1 characters. And Victory Saber...and Deathsaurus...and a proper Liokaiser  

 

People must want Pretenders, that's why TFCC can't get rid of their Pretenders even at 70% discount and the Play With This Too KS failed twice.

Unless the concept is somehow radically changed, I don't see Pretenders ever making a significant comeback. By radically changed I mean stuff like "shells turning inside out to transform into robots."
