Okay I beginning suspect First Aid and Riptide might actually be dead. First Aid might actually be aware that he is in a loop because he is either dying or dead because his life literally flash right before his optics and turns out last moments are a loop.

 

First time in a while I enjoyed this story line.

 

i love riptide and was happy he found his Conscience, and that whole gruesome scene in the bar was crazy, so are they murdering the unloyal crew now? also, why didnt the rescuebots just combine into defensor and end the fight in 30 sec?

 

You mean the protectobots? And it seems like they will do that in LL#12 judging by the cover. But covers can sometimes just be pretty pictures and have no relevance at all.

 

Niiice. Very nice. Well played Roberts. I seriously loved this issue and happy to find out that the majority of the crew do appear to be wholeheartedly and unbrainwashed on Getaways side.
It just makes it all more interesting.
But i do agree the Protectobots could just have formed Defensor. alltough since Bruticus was offed with one shot the same could have happened with them.
And they might just have been nudged by Getaways timeloop before they discovered the truth and the entire end of the story is a fabrication.

 

Or they just agree with Getaway and are prepared to do horrible things to reach their goal (which is pretty much what they've all been doing throughout the war).

 

This is all good, and all, but what's better is Milne on drawing issue 13:

"Working on Lost Light 13 right now. Finished all the pages that had a MTMTE feel to them. Now working on the rest of the book."

With all due respect (great news), what does this have to do with the topic of discussion at hand?

 

Didn't think it was worth starting a new thread, lost light related, and Milne throwing shaaaade.

 

So you came into a basically unrelated thread to tell everyone that the artist you like was complaining about the book that you don’t like?  

 

It kinda puts Hound's statement into light and thinking about his body language is scared. I would loyalty in some cases is forced.

Hard to say. James did say Alex was coming back for a longer arc later. But until it happens...

Yes. This was all an altered memory after all.
Reality might be very different.
I still hope the majority of the mutineers is on the same page without cohersion.

 

To make the memory believable even in its altered state will need elements of truth in it. More the elements of truth the harder to tell if the memory is fake. So the question is how much is true and how much is fake.

The shuttle crashed but the reason why it crashed was different from first few pages wr assumed it was out of fuel not the it had been shot. We know Getaway greeted them in shuttle bay what really had been said and done is not clear. We know that they went Visages because First Aid had some questions for Hoist. Also at Visages it only served to confirm their suspicion of something going on. Hound did bring up the security detail is the most loyal to Getaway and he got nervous that First Aid thought he would be the Captain. Getaway has clear faith in Hoist's loyalty and insisted First Aid talking to him. At one point Mirage brought up being contacted by Getaway and Atomizer about the loyalty to which side. I am suspicious at this point at what happened at Swerves because I don't think they escaped. If you recall the same shuttle was undamaged when it should had been the reverse.

The major events of the issue most likely did happen but the details are ones being altered. First Aid taking care of Blades injuries did happen but the sequence of events may had been altered to what caused them.

 

Yeah. It's tricky.
There are things you know happened because of them being emphasized, like Blades injury, First Aid finding Thunderclash...
Their ship being shot by the LL.
But it's tricky working out what happened after the lights went on.
