    I missed the sheen question. It’s satin. It’s definitely not gloss or flat. I like it quite a bit, since gloss makes figures look like plastic toys.

    It's a Gimp trick. I push up the colors in post production. Mine is not bright like you can see in the pictures.

    I would prefer it too in a brighter and lighter red version.
    The MAS line is good, it'a a sin that my 2 Primes have some minor paint defects

    I think everyone would like their primes to be as red as it is in those pictures, I always fiddle with the colours when I take pics of it.

    Can't remember if the prototype they showed at TF Nation was as 'pink'

    I think it's the metallic component of the paint that lightens the red in direct light. I agree that I have to play with the colour settings to get Prime to be as red as he is in MP-10.

    Just got this guy in the mail, and he's quite impressive. However when I went to put batteries in the head, the nut that hold the access panel on fell into the head. I was able to get the nut out by prying the top open a bit, but I don't want to force it open and break something. I don't suppose anyone has opened the head on this one before?

    I'm attaching a picture of the head for better illustration.

    I looked around on youtube, but couldn't find anything about taking it apart. Tons of reviews but nobody has taken it apart that I've seen.
