It's so good it's hard to believe. As far as articulated hands go, they should not shy away from articulation in hands that size. They would be big enough to pin each joint or simply use large ball joints that won't shear off or stress.

Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man...

Personally I don't see the point in buying something like this when it literally looks like everything is Motor Master and the limb-bots are just tacked-on afterthoughts/decorations. What's even the point to calling it a "combiner"?

Also, I DON'T want something that looks like it walked off the screen! For little me in the 80s, a low-production-value cartoon that looked like crap was fine, and the nostalgia can attest to that. But modern me actually wants something that looks like it transforms from a vehicle into a robot AND combines in such a way that all parts contribute to the sum of the whole.

So for you this may be a "very, very good looking and accurate Menasor", but for me it looks like a pass. I'll be waiting for something that looks more like an actual combiner. Maybe that is just an oversize upscale of CW Menasor, kind of like the JuJiang aerialbots coming out.

Constructor is quite similar... He is roughly 50% Constructicons and the rest is made up of extra parts...

Omega Riz wants people to give this credit for doing something that it isn't doing (looking good). Deusxanime responded in a very polite fashion to that. I barely managed to control myself from responding for the reasons you state, and I can say it would not have been as kind as he was.

I think that was the point, that it was made to look like it walked off the screen but the alt modes look realistic. There are other ones that don't look like that. I would say this is the first of it's kind for menasor. There are more choices currently for what seems to interest you. Menasor most certainly looks like motormaster with car armor in the toon, more so than other combiners but since that's how I recall him, I'm glad they took that route. Have you tried any of the other stunticon looking combiners?

At the time, Apollyon was the first and only Megatron to pull of both modes fairly accurately.

While he doesn't look like he walked straight off the screen, what with gun parts for arms etc, several of us still feel he's a great looking Megatron. I personally think he overall looks the best with MP10 and other MPs of that time.

Is it needed to even mention thinking of replying in a not kind manner?

Haha sorry guys, @Omega Riz's post came off a bit of "if you don't like it you are wrong and must be dumb" kind of vibe to me, which triggers me. So I wanted to respond that there were some legitimate reasons not to like this set. And not surprisingly - I won't be buying it! But I'm still subscribed from back when stuff was being announced and check in to see the discussion from time-to-time. It's good to have some counterpoint and not just circlejerk over stuff sometimes, isn't it?

    Anyway, back to lurking...

His point though its screen accurate yet still looks good (putting aside your preference for aesthetics). I mean, if the combiner doesn't look like Motor Master with limbs tacked on then it wouldn't be screen accurate. That's the direction Takara is going with for MP and apparently XTB as well. Official MP and XTB isn't for you if that's not what you like. But the point was made that IF you like screen accuracy then this is for you. Wait to see if some company like FT will do Menasor. They like to take a little bit of liberty when it comes to screen accuracy. Or Dx9 one. Otherwise, why trash a product when it succeeded pretty well in what it intended to go for...screen accuracy?

No problemo as long as it means lots of articulation plus plenty of stability.

I am liking this set more and more, i am for the toon acuracy as much as posible, as a kid i been watched plenty of episodes but had only 3 toys, so what brings me here is the cartoon nostalgia.

That said i get the point of the people, yes it is 2017 and we should expect a bit more in terms of enginering and desing.

I've have always wanted the cartoon versions of the Transformers and now we are getting them. I do like how Breakdown has turn out with a per paint that he has none. I do agree that Wildrider seems a little bit off maybe it's because the gray is too dark and needs a little just a little bit lighter. I know that right now that is just a Proto type right now. and maybe a little glossy will work on him some. But he does look good. I've been trying to figure out Drag Strip & Dead End on the arms of Menasor. Trying to figure if they are them or just the shall of them. I forget who is the next Stunticon coming out after Breakdown is it Wildrider or one of the others. Anyways I can't wait to get Breakdown. So tell me if I read this right. Breakdown is sopost to come out at the end of this month or not.
