Never had Scoria, but Cesium I have.
I say go to which ever you like looks and sizewise.
Cant go wrong with either.

 

Great, thanks! After reading some other reviews it seems Cesium is a great bot for the price.

Couple other questions if someone doesn't mind. Before I drop a couple hundred on some bots I'd like to make sure I get the right ones.

Does Cesium scale with the MP Grimlock that Hasbro did?

Also, are there plans to replace all the Dibots with Perfect Fusion versions or are Soar, Sever and Stomp the final versions of them?

 

That Grimlock is too small.

Nothing is known for sure either way IIRC

 

Dalianjj from Fans Toys has gone on record to say that they are not doing any other PF dinobots.

 

Ok, guess I need to pick up a Grinder as well. I see alot of these for cheaper on Ebay than Tfsource. Has there been any issue with KO's for these? Lots of China sellers on Ebay concerns me.

I'm not trying to be pushy, but if you decide you want the FansToys Dibots (MP Dinobots), I highly recommend you not hesitate to do so. The reason why I say this is because they sell out pretty quick. Some stick around and then all of a sudden the stock is sold out. Grinder sold fast, as did Blue Soar. Sever (Snarl) seems to be running low in supply and Stomp (Sludge) recently got a reissue. The newest release is the Cesium (Slag). I was not planing to get all the FT Dinobots. I originally only wanted their Grinder and Soar. After getting Soar, and seeing pics of Grinder, I poked around and found that Stomp got a lot of praise from people. Got that one and found that it easily lives up to the hype (at least for me). And I was never a huge fan of Sludge, but man, it's a great MP. So now I have to have all five.  

 

More like for those that missed the first and second run. This will the the third run or 2nd reissue.

Not having all 5 is like not having milk for your cereal. It just doesn't make sense. At least not to me. Enjoy man!    

 

I really don't want to read 400 pages. To get original red soars leg clips/feet replacements, i didn't get it from retail. Should I email FT? Also if I didn't get grinder, is there any chance of getting the new face?

So I pulled out my x version for my son. Had forgotten how heavy it was and absolutely stunning. Bravo @dalianjj

 

I also pre-ordered blue Swoop. I had the original TF from decades ago which was red, but now that I'm grown up and OCD can't stand that it's not toon-accurate. I hope it comes with the metal feet so I won't have to fiddle with the replacement parts in my Grinder box. It would piss me off to be trying to fit them in and then realize that the pin holes aren't large enough. Then I'd be spending months trying to order replacement parts. Crossing fingers and hoping for the best.
