Hate to see that the Twins did not advance past the Wild card game. I have seen a lot of the Twins come through Chattanooga the past few years in double A, most of them are great guys. Maybe next year
Wow, the Yankees youngsters do it again this team is ridiculous and the future is definitely bright. What surprised me was the Bullpen 8 2/3 innings 1 run.
I just died inside watching us waste bases loaded. I can't handle this, I want to win at least one game (3 in a row would be nice, though )
1-0 Yankees, Gardner on 2nd, 0 outs, my heart is racing, GO YANKEES. Edit: A tear has fallen from my eye. Yankees hold on for the win. WE ARE STILL ALIVE!!
I am beyond happy the cheat sox are gone. I hope the Yankees can pull this off tonight, it's gonna be a tough one with Bauer pitching for Cleveland
I cannot breathe. What a beauty of a homer by GARRYYYYYYYYYYY I try to not get too excited, even with a good lead, because anything is possible, but, goddammit, LETS GO YANKEES
Must be a tough gig in Boston. Here I always thought the Yankees would be the worst manager position. Guess it's the Red Sox.
Dusty Baker has got to be the most hard luck Manager in MLB History. 1993 - Giants Win 103 games and miss playoffs because the Braves won 104. 2002 - Giants up 5-0 in the 7th inning in the World Series leading 3-2 in the series and HANDS THE BALL to Russ Ortiz. Bullpen implodes. 2003 - Dusty leads bad luck Cubs to playoffs... then Steve Bartman happens in game 6 of the NLCS. 2012 - Dusty's Reds up 2-0 in best of 5 series against Giants. Gets swept in 3 straight AT HOME. 2017 - Nats up 4-1 in the second. 2 Errors cause 3 runs to come in the 5th en route to a series-deciding loss. There's many more, those are just the LOW of lowlights.
Hell yeah, Yankees win and beat Keuchel. 1 more win until to WS. I am confident that they can win game 6 and at this point even the WS.
Didn't know this thread existed. While I was visiting home (I currently live in Japan), I was at Game 3 of the ALCS at Yankee Stadium (my cousin scored tickets). Was awesome watching the Yanks belt out two homers (I got the second homer on video with my phone -- the stadium went berserk, it was great!) and put up such a huge lead, defeating the Astros 8-1. Nothing like actually being there and feeling all the energy in the air with the 50,000 strong crowd. Happy that they won games 4 and 5 too. Just one more and we win the pennant and then off to the World Series! Let's go Yankees!
