saw voyager megs at walmart in williamsburg, and the new tech thingies at target. Just got word that TRU in kiln Creek had the individual carded 25th joes! Our target was in the midst of restocking, and my walmart friend says they have some boxes in the back.
Picked up High Score at Leesburg Super Target. Still a Meantime left. No sign of the titaniums or new deluxes.

KB Outlet Leesburg: picked up the only 25th Anniversary Flint, Cobra Trooper, and Snake Eyes variant. TRU Sterling: all the Robot Replicas. Picked up the only GI Joe Shockwave. There were two Desert Wolfs left. Wal*Mart Sterling: jack. Target Sterling: on GI Joe 25th Anniversary boxset and the new GI Joe Flint, Snake Eyes, etc.
'08 Camaro Bumblebee? Any sightings in the Northern Virginia area? I'm poking around in Leesburg. I'll post if I see any myself. Does anyone know when the stores tend to re-stock? and who is the best for having things in stock? Thanks
I noticed that both Target and Wal-Mart were in the midst of their resets today over at the Military Circle area this morning. Wal-Mart had a mountain load of pallets ready to distribute, and the Target looked about ready to restock everything as well. Hopefully, that pays off at lunch.
OK, I just got back from going to Target, Wal-Mart and TRU. What a complete and utter failure! Nothing. Mystifying, for sure.
I was surprised to notice the shelfs were still empty even this weekend. I tried to hope to get to see something new out or some of the figures but none. I did get the posters of the Autobots and the Decepticons through. The only one I have to get now is Optimus. I don't know about the ones in the toy section through.
The reset is actually the week of August 5th so not all stores are going to be restocking at/on the 5th.
Okay... so I'm new to this whole thing. What is a "reset" and how do you all find this info out? I don't get a lot of chances to make a toy run these days, but if I have some operable intel, then perhaps my trips won't be completely wasted. At least, I'll have a better chance of getting something for my effort. Thanks
Twice a year, retailers go through major resets for their toys. Once before the summer months and once before the winter months. This is in preparation for the kids getting out of school in the summer and for the winter holidays. Normally the patterns are February - April and August - September for the two resets. During this time, finding any new stuff is pretty difficult.
