Wonder if my Walgreens will decide to carry these when they get released states side. I missed out on Brainstorm already because of shelfwarmers.

 

Do I want the Hasbro or the Takara versions is my question now.

LOL this is laughable. It's like Hasbro is dangling a carrot in the face of the US and saying "Want it? Uhuh, not yet!" This is ridiculous. Release the dang things already.

 

That's up to the retailers to put them on the shelves. It's got nothing to do with Hasbro. The toys are available to order/have already been ordered.

 

All I need from this set is Cloudraker, I'm going to sell that Wingspan since I Preordered the Takara version of Wingspan and Pounce since I never got Pounce through that Exclusive set at BBTS.

 

Really? From where?

 

Hasbro offers toys to retailers. If retailers order them, they get shipped.

If retailers don't order them, that's on the retailers, not on Hasbro.
If the retailers order them but don't put them on their shelves and/or on their website, that's on the retailers, not on Hasbro.


We currently have a situation here in Germany where a Hasbro representative swears honest-to-god that multiple consecutive waves of Titans Return figures have been shipped to retailers from Hasbro, and yet only some small quantities of one wave have ever been stocked by a few retailers.

Hasbro cannot force retailers to order toys. Hasbro cannot force retailers to put toys they keep in their stockroom for months on their shelves.

Makes one wonder if retailers keep a year's worth of new stock locked up for Christmas season these days.

 

I misunderstood what mx-01 archon what saying. I thought he meant that consumers were able to order them online now since I'm not going on a Walgreen's to Walgreen's hunt for them this year.

 

Here's what I did. Since I ended up getting both TR box sets I'm going to hunt this down as well BUT since I had the Decipticlones as a kid I'm preordering the Legends set too. I can always cancel later if I decide I don't want it.

 

Just when I think I have sufficiently grumbled about exclusives this week...

 

If you're already two deep you might as well make it three.

 

I couldn't get the BBTS set so I'm going with the Takara versions. I also prefer to have them sold like they were back in G1, both Cons in one set & both Bots in the other. I don't like how Hasbro separated them all over the place. Takara gets it right again, Hasbro are idiots as usual.

 

The problem is if I get them, how do I get Pounce and Fastlane for a cheap price?

 

Hope the Walgreens in the US get it soon and my friend Chris can pick up one for me...
