I'm torn.

On one hand, I like G2 colors, and have bought all the G2 Fanstoys dinos so far. So from that standpoint, yes, I'd like to complete the set.

But on the other hand, I'm not really a fan of the proposed G2 decos for Sludge and Swoop. They don't quite fit the theme that the other G2 Dinobots followed: that is, keeping their red and gold where it is, but swapping out the grey for another color. They swap out the red for blue as well. And while the three released Dinos used darker shades of their new color, that G2 Swoop opts for a lime green... again, doesn't seem to stick with the theme.

So yes, I'd probably buy them, because I've come this far with the set. But I don't really think those two decos work well, and I think it's just as well they were never actually released.

For the record, I would also totally buy a Diaclone Soar... with a slightly greener blue, transparent beak, and pale gold highlights.

I like the funky colours, but it wouldn't fit with everything else, unfortunately. I'd pass.

 

YES! I plan to commission someone to repaint a Soar and Stomp into those colors when I can afford it (probably not soon), but if FT would just release them I could save on the commission fee.

Hell yes! I want Hasbro to do those and tiger's stripe Grim, too.

I can't afford FansToys' dinobots in duplicate, but more G1.5 and G2 is always awesome.

 

100% yes. I almost didn't get G2 Grinder and was debating sticking with just G2 Sever due to the lack of G2 Stomp and Soar. If G2 Stomp and Soar were announced I'd pick up G2 Scoria ASAP. That said I get G2 dinobots aren't exactly the most in demand thing ever.

 

If these were chug scale dinobots I'd almost certainly want them, but not at the masterpiece scale prices...

 

For myself, no. I didn't get any of the G2 or diaclone versions, even though there are some variants that I think look better than the TF colours (e.g. Diaclone slag).

But if I had bought the G2 deco's then yes. And for those who did buy the G2 coloured DiBots I hope that FT will release them to complete the team.

Good to know no G2 Sludge is in the works, so I can at least grab a vanilla ed.

But all the clamor for "Trypticon" Grimlock and moans over the G2 colors? Lads, I'm disappointed. Not surprised, but always disappointed.  

Play it loud! More G2!  

 

It’d be nice to see the other two in G2 colors but I’d rather they make new dinobots like Scorn, Slash, Paddles and Scowl, etc.

Other than paddles, those other names are too AoE/TLK for my tastes. More G2!

I really wish @dalianjj would reconsider these. The first three G2 bots look fantastic, and I'd like to complete the set

 

Scowl is from RiD (the new one) and Slash was just made in PotP in G1 styling.

They could also Base a lot of designs off the Power Core Combiner Dinobot Drones, as they also were meant to be G1 in style.

 

Easier to pay someone to custom paint the normal ones for you. Those g2 colours are just too unpopular. They would shelfwarm like crazy.
