The Terrorcon limb bots are excellent. Better than I was expecting.

Hun-Grrr is disappointing but I've had time to get accustomed to his design since we first saw the grey prototype. I wish the front beast legs could have been bigger and the rear ones a bit less straight and angular in shape. The torso transformation looks like it had a few new twists added to the Silverbolt transformation design.

Looking forward to seeing the Unite Warriors version. Although, I really like the toy colors for the individual figures and I think when the time comes, I will be torn between both Hasbro and TakaraTomy versions.

WTF is with the $19.99 srp for deluxes!? Why the hell is there a price increase AGAIN!? I understand the movie crap was $20 a pop but that was the reason I didn't bother. Sad when just a few years ago you could get a voyager for $20 that was denser, and actually felt like a value. This is just greed, $10 was good, $15 pushing it, $20 is just bs!!!!

as individual bots, I love them, so colourful and the details are great. can't wait to see Abominus

and last night I had a dream I picked up Snaptrap at retail, if they do the Seacons and Monstructor I'd be all over that

It's pretty clear now that the head sculpt that was covered up by a decepticon symbol in the prototype images was actually Snaptrap, based on the pointy "ears" sticking up from behind the decepticon symbol. I was thinking about how this could turn into a turtle, and I'm reasonably convinced I've figured it out. Basically, the figure transforms like silverbolt to have a "wider" shape, small legs flip down, and the Dragon tail is replaced with a turtle head. That's my take on it anyways.

Yep, the price keep increasing as the quality decrease. The source of the problem is the lack of competition; Hasbro and Mattel now have monopoly on the toy market so they allow themeslves to make overpriced knockoff-like toys.
I miss the feeling of hefty soild plastic toys we used to have...

Rippersnapper was my favourite Terrorcon as a kid (though they were all pretty awesome frankly) and his update in particular looks wonderful. It's a great job and as much as I'm mourning the loss of Titans Return/Legends, I'm excited to get started on both the Terrorcons and the new Dinobots. Seems like HasTak has really found it's groove with their franchise lately.

I had totally forgotten about NYCC. Nice surprise, to say the least. Rippersnapper and Blot are the ones I like the most but it aint like Cutthroat and Sinnertwin look bad either. Hun-Gurr is wonky but acceptably so. If all I get are Rippersnapper and Blot I'll be happy but it'd be cool to have the whole bunch.

Right now I really miss the old Universe line because these guys getting a straight repaint in happy colours to be Autobots would be pretty funny.

The Terrorcons look really cool. I'm definitely going to get these. Do they use the Combiner Wars connectors to form Abominus?

    GOOD GRIEF!!!!!

These look absolutely incredible, It's very rare anything that isn't MP can distract my attention.
Hun Gurrr isn't perfect but he's still more amazing than anything I'd have imagined back in the day.
I think I'm going to pick up my first set of non MP transformers in like 20 years wooo! I like to keep things stock but will have to paint Hun Gurrr's face white and eyes red like the toon. I'll also need Sixshot now to hang out with them like the IDW comics.

I'm wondering if Takara Tomy will do a superior version though hmmm..

This might be the first time I buy a Hasbro Transformer since G1-2 in the mid-1990's
what a time to be alive.

That's because you have been MP deprived:p . Everything looks good, I have so much Takara LG coming in the next few months.

When I was a kid I could buy Basic BW figures for $5.

When my dad was a kid movies cost a quarter.

    Welcome to inflation.

    Yes.

They appear to have combiner pegs on there chests (at least the deluxes), which gives me high hopes for abomnius. (Unless they already confirmed that was happening)

I find i'm struggling with my apathy here - not because the toys are bad, but because I've already left the very nice Thermidor on the shelf at £17.99 so another £2.00 (if that happens) isn't going to impress i've already seen some online stores in the Uk try to sell Titan Returns for £22.

I can't justify that I can get something like the Wei Jiang Bumblebee for that price - safe to say all most all of what i've been buying lately is Unofficial 3rd party & KOs. I'm actively looking forward to completing a Yes Model Defensor - where as I look at the Terrorcons and I think "Those look nice - I might get them if I see them in B&M" I know i'd walk away from them if I saw them Toymaster or the like for £22.00.

Besides I'm getting a taste for Voyager scale as the default size now of so many 3rd party & KO.

About the only ones I'm actively hankering for is TR Arcee and Grotesque which I might reluctantly pay a premium for. The Joke her is that I could get the entire set of several KO combiners that are much bigger or contain metal for the same price or less.

Even though he\'s using a ton of Silverbolt\'s engineering, I\'m actually much more interested in Hun-Grr than I expected to be. Hopefully the monster head ankles can tilt or else those will be some very awkwardly-closing jaws in monster mode if they\'re acting like sculpted-angled feet for the robot mode as well.
