I believe the Terrorcons are waves 2 and 3? And wave 1 is supposed to hit this November or December.

Well, it has been a few years in France that price went from 15 to 20 to 25 euros and now 30 for some tlk deluxe. Us was spared but you may see a 30$ one day as well one day

I wouldn't doubt it. Bet it'll be Toysrus or Target that hit that mark first. Or Walgreens. I remember Walgreens having first wave classics for something stupid like eighteen bucks way back when.

I think Kroger here had the TLK stuff at twenty or twenty-five already. But I don't count them as they are just kinda doing their own thing regardless.

You know, I think someone at Hasbro has an emotional tie to the Terrorcons. These look to have a little more effort put into their design than the last few combiner teams.

According to some info from awhile back about projected release dates:
December 1st for Deluxe/Voyager first wave.
January 1st for Leader class first wave.

Though I forgot if that was street date or 'hopeful' saturation date.

Yeah, once they know people will buy at those prices they don't tend to look back.

When the 25th Anniversary Joes came out they were five bucks. I think they were closer to twelve or fifteen when the line died again.

I think Marvel Legends may've even started under ten dollars back when ToyBiz launched it. Certainly no more than twelve. And you got a display stand and a reprinted, often randomly chosen, may not have anything to do with the toy character comic book.

Legends started at the 10-15 USD price mark. It was the standard toy biz super hero lines that were 12 USD and lower(the 9 POA or less ones). They started at about 6.99 USD and stopped somewhere near 13. Legends started at 12.99 or so and went upwards to 15 or so before Toy Biz went out of business. But that was also almost 2 decades of standard Marvel figures for the gradual price hike, and then prices 'stabilized' this past decade, and now we're seeing the effects of that from how long the prices didn't gradually go up with these price jumps.

    Terrorcons... And the like.

Admittedly, I bought many of my early TB Legends at Kaybee Toys before it too went out of business. Then I think I got Colossus and Sabertooth at Wal-mart. Those guys were awesome and still had room to improve.

Then I started buying cases through BBTS. So my price scale may be somewhat skewed.

    Blot is a blot.

Yeah, I think a was able to get Gambit and Beast for four or five bucks through Kaybee Though they may've been Toy Liquidators by them. Punisher too. They couldn't give away those Affleck Daredevils though. And they tried their best too.

To be fair, that affleck Daredevil was a horrible figure that used basic 9 POA articulation rotation cuts for a figure that's supposed to be agile. I have one to go with my Raimi Spider-man, and first movie Ironman, and the best pose it can manage is leaning against the cathedral window dio piece looking like he's afraid of heights.

Yeah, kinda sad when the display stand was the best feature of the figure.

Just getting caught up on the news after work, and these guys look kinda meh to me. Blot and Rippersnapper look alright, but Cutthroat and Sinnertwin aren't doing it for me, and Hun Gurr looks straight up bad. I would have passed on half of this set at the proper Titan's Return/Combiner Wars prices; I'm definitely good at the new premium pricing.

I can\'t wait for the Takara Tomy boxedset.  I might even buy a Wei Jiang OSKO version of this, if it ever comes out...

I wonder if an all-black TLK  \"Diabolus\" (?) repaint will be made, also?

Apparently, these guys won't show until Wave 2 or Wave 3. From the leaks that I have still luckily have, Wave 2 is Rippersnapper and Hun-Gurr, while Wave 3 is likely to be the others.

Gives me enough time to save for them anyways since I'm technically buying all of Wave 1, well except the Legends and Primemasters or whatever until I have gotten the Deluxes, Voyagers, and Primes.

Terrorcons look nice individually, at least the limb guys do. I'd say Rippersnapper and Blot are my faves (the ol' nose goblin was my least from G1).

Hun-Grrr however, is a full-on mess. It's sad when the G1 original beats this design in nearly all ways save for articulation and incorporating the combiner chunks into the body. Remold or not, I'm pretty sure this could have been done better.
