Not saying it will happen in Transformers 6, but if Optimus were to pass Leadership to another Autobot like in the original movie, who would it be out of the Autobots we know so far?
Well, as the movie is set in the 80's, it's unlikely. If he were to do it in the TLK sequel... hmm I guess Bee refuses, Hounds accepts interim leadership (mainly just because Hot Rod puts his hand up), and finally Ultra Magnus lands on the Earth and formally takes leadership, until he's badly damaged and Bee finally has to step up and accept the matrix making him transform into Anthophilas Prime!
I really think Bumblebee deserves the leadership, cause bee is always a brave soldier… Though sometimes he can not be trusted by everyone,as Optimus said,he is a brilliant friend and a leader.By the way,he is the only Autobot who came to earth in TF1. And,most importantly, Bumblebbe has so many people loved!
bee has had his crack at the 'leadership' mantle a few times now...we first see this in rotf where it's basically bee & the twins vs the world..he did a pretty good job here... id be on board for bee as the leader..it only seems natural..however, they kind of destroyed any chance he had at being a leader in aoe when he was in fact, in charge of the autobots, & they hated his guts & made him look like a horrendous leader considering the autobots fall right back in line when daddy comes home (prime)...the same thing occurred again in tlk in terms of him not being truly respected as a leader bee has substitute teacher written all over him (not that there is anything wrong with subs but you all know you were a little more lackadaisical when the sub was in) & there is nothing wrong with being the #2 guy..same goes for barricade..he functions better NOT as the main villain...same can be said for bee in that regard bee is a brave solider & he kind of speaks with his actions...so the potential is there..kind of hard to take a leader seriously when he beeps & boops to speak..so maybe now that he has his voice again (we'll see if they keep this) maybe this will help transition him better into the role? idk i feel they kind of had a great chance to kill off prime again for good as nemesis & insert bee as the new guy in tlk but that didnt happen so idk what their plan is
It will pass to hot rod but then bumblebee will retain leadership instead. My theory is that hasbro is priming (excuse the pun) the next generation to be accustomed to Bee being the leader with the RID show.
I was gonna say either Hot Rod or Bumblebee but since apperantly I can only vote once I had to pick Bumblebee cause he's my favorite. Though I have to say his character had no growth in TLK and showed no leadership skills whatsoever.
going with new character. But I would agree with most that it is probably going to be Bee, if the decision had to be made
I'm going to go with none of the above and say Cade Yeager. He's already a proven leader in the Autobot camp, managing to corral not only such personalities as Hound, Bumblebee, and Crosshairs, but he got Grimlock to listen to him. Cade might not be Cybertronian, but he's the only real backup leader they have.
I could see that, after Cade being the last knight, he has the respect of the knights of cybertron ( or at least that is how I saw it), being the leader is not that far of a stretch.
Current lineage: Optimus>Bumblebee>Crosshairs>Hound>Drift. Crosshairs has assumed leadership role whenever both Optimus and Bumblebee's aren't around. Hound is a little more aggressive than Drift, but Hound stood his ground very well in the battle of Hong Kong and led the humans when Bumblebee was off fighting in another part of town. No doubt he would have helped Optimus take on Grimlock had he been there, unlike Crosshairs and Drift. Drift is still learning and requires more patience and honor. Not including Hot Rod because we have not seen enough of how his relationship and role with the other five bots plays out, though by what we have seen so far, I would potentially place him after Optimus.
