My friends surprised me with a early birthday present and are taking me to TFcon today! I'm so pumped!

 

Im in line for registration now.

 

Getting my coffee on at Waffle House in Frederick MD.

We should be there in a little over 1.5 hrs.

Kid wouldn't sleep, kept waking me up all night. "Isittimetogoyet? Isittimetogoyet? Daddy,,,, Isittimetogoyet?"

 

Got my wristband...there is not enough rooom here for all these people

 

Been in line for 45 mins.

 

Been in line 1.5 hrs

 

The line is double wrapped around the hotel. This is bad....

 

The line is now double wrapped around the 2nd floorfloor. Down the steps and on the 1st floor

 

So,,,, you're holding a spot for us? Lol

Just kinda silly to have the presale people on the same line as the day of sales.

I think/hope the delay is that it didn't start when Ilovedinobot was here. It's moving pretty quick.


BTW there's a pretty epic Prime Starscream cosplayer working the lobby. I might get a pic later.

 

I grabbed my tickets last night fortunately, then had a minimal wait to get in this morning. The ticket booth had no clue about my "VIP raffle tickets" I won. But didn't matter anyways, they didn't have any medium shirts ever.


Got to have breakfast with James Roberts. Well he was at the next table. Currently sitting in his panel

 

Saw a friendross, razerwire and vangelus.

 

Ok like its empty all of the sudden wherebis everyone?

 

Exhausted. Broke. Hungry.


We walked down the road for lunch and are headed back for the 3p panel. A cocktail and local crab cakes seemed like a good idea. Maybe another lap around the convention for us after that.


Might try to muster up the courage for a parts party later tonight if we are feeling bold

 

I really would have done longer if it was just me, but my kid just doesn't have the patience for the panels. I don't even think he's interested in the movie.

 

At 9:30 AM the Dealer Room was absolutely packed. I was with my 3 year old and had to carry her so she wouldn't get accidentally trampled.

Can't say that I've seen any head-turning deals on the floor, which was jam packed this morning! The Calidus exclusive sold out pretty quickly. I paid visits to Alex Milne and James Roberts, as those two were on my "must" list for the event, and then I ducked out so I could hit the floor when it would be less crowded, which worked out much better. I'm continually amazed at the staggering amount of third party items, and it seems to always be on the rise. This is my second TFCon, and it's been well organized and has been running smoothly from what I've seen. I've really enjoyed talking to the artists, and that's pretty much where my money has gone! Andrew Griffith had an issue with his flight, but will apparently be here tomorrow from what I saw on his Twitter page. All in all, a good con so far!

 

Just met protoman, tbs and peaugh. Had a super megatron sighting earlier lol.
