He definitely seems a bit too big. I guess you could put him in the back to make it less noticeable

How does Scoria's bot head attach? Cesium's is a weird kind of T-Jointed ball peg thing. Could always investigate swapping Scoria and Cesium's heads, for those who have both. You'd end up with a bit more of a gap in the gold hood but it may help those who are worried. I only have toy Scoria so his head's the wrong colour...
For me though, I'm happy to call this group done. I've fixed Cesium's tail and once I clean up the back plate, and get around to replacing all the heads/faces/knees that Grinder came with, I can sit back and enjoy them. Well that and try and figure out how to fit the five Giant Robot Dinosaurs together on the shelf. With the nose to tail length of these guy's, their overall bulk, and of course Soar sitting on that too tall stand, I have them spread across two shelves of my display with Soar sitting separately on top of the case.

If Perfect Fusion does do a new MP-style NOT Swoop, it has to do one of two things for me. One, it has to fix the problem with the ankle articulation. Mine doesn't have immediate problems, but when jarred or slightly nudged or breathed on too hard, his ankles will give way. Second, he has to have a decent smirking face, and not the weird cat-face the Grinder piece came with. The original Swoop face, just with that almost MP03 Starscream-esque smirk had so much personality IMO.

Back (sort of) on topic. Still waiting for Cesium...

Grinder needs a larger head. Period.
FT please include it on the next figure than can have it. It was pretty simple detail wise anyways. (Crazy thinking how Grinder's both heads were/are off)

Cesium Dino mode looks good but the Dino eyes on Scoria remind me of Slag so much more. And I do miss that little flame thrower nozzle in his mouth.

Honestly. I don't think you can go wrong with either Cesium or Scoria. Cesium has a little edge because of the joints and ratchets but I know I WILL miss certain things about Scoria as I sell him off

    Things I'll miss from Scoria:
    Chrome gun
Dino face looked so movie toon accurate to me
Flame thrower in Dino head mouth
I think his robot mode crotch fit in better with the overall team aesthetic
His Dino mode fit better with the group (or more with Sever, really)

    That's it.

    But I'm happy with Cesium

I hope they don't redo the rest of them. I'd like to be done with these guys.

I just figured out how to be a billionaire. I can sell cheese to go with all the whining here.

Scoria is too small, and so is Grinder's dome.

I'm OK with Scoria. I got him for a very reasonable price on Mandarake, and his simplicity is what fits with the rest of the Dibots line. I think the aesthetic of ridiculous chest lines for everyone but Scoria and Soar works reasonably well because of the rest of the proportioning. The heads seem smaller because the torsos are practically cuboid. I can't imagine wanting a bigger version of Slag. However, if you missed out the first time, I'm not sure paying whatever the going rate for a G1 Scoria is worth it. You probably wouldn't notice the slight difference, much like most of use don't notice the difference that MMC Sphinx brings to a line of MP Datsuns.

My Scoria is still for sale. 115 shipped worldwide. With the 50 that I'll spend on shipping I think that's a baller deal.

Cesium arrived yesterday. Right hand and right wing are a little bit loose. Nothing that really bothers me.

For those who feel that Cesium is too tall, compared to Stomp and Grinder, my opinion is that it can be fixed following different ways:

1- Providing us a new large or bigger helmet/robot head for Grinder ( for example, one based on OSmp08), or adapting us a Reximus head to
Grinder. (so sorry if I did grammar mistakes, I am still learning english)

2- Using the leg extension of Stomp, you can keep the head of Sludge higher than the Slag´s head. Stomp looks amazing next to Cesium by using this trick. If any piece can be used to cover the thickness difference between the extendend part of the thigh, and the normal thickness of the thigh and the hip, he will looks simply perfect next to Cesium. Really perfect.

The only few criticism I can do, are based on personal preferences:
1- I´d like the chrome finish for his pistol/blaster
2- I prefer a ratched wings as Scoria have.

    Would I recommend Cesium? Yes
Is it a perfect figure? It depends, but imo, Cesium looks good, not only between the FT-Dibots, but also next to GP Guttur, and OS Grimlock, and it is also a good point.

About other hypothetical PF re-designs, I personally can deal with the size of Soar because I always feel him like the shortest dinosaur and dinobot (but I think his ankle articulation should be reinforced or re-designed to be more strong). As I said previously If they re-design a Sever 2.0, would be interesting. I think Sever has some weak points in design compared to the GP Guttur, that can be re-inforced by PF.

At the moment, I am quite happy with Cesium, and I will keep an eye of his X version or other hypothetical re-designs, but I surely go for PF Quietus, for Cyclonus.

Ouch, if you STILL can't sell yours at that price, I'm not even going to bother trying to sell mine.

There's reduced prices, and then there's giving stuff away, and I don't give stuff away. :lol

Good luck though man, that IS a great deal.

I discovered that the wrists were in fact a tad loose, nothing major though. Similar to what BSF pointed out in his review. However I decided to use a toothpick to apply a drop of Pledge floor polish on the crevice between the wrist and the forearm on each wrist. Then I let it sit undisturbed for a day and, poof....the wrist looseness is gone.

The hands are on a mushroom peg, with the 2 halves screwed together.
Mine was very lose and needed a layer of super glue to tighten it up, as polish would have been loads of layers.

That blue "shit" is called paint, and it follows the deco from the toy version of Slag.
