    This guy is GLORIOUS!!!
The pink isn't really pink to me its more of a neon purple, and it is just so eye searing and saturated and just makes you want to grab and play with it. I army build Triggerhappys and 30 minutes in I like this guy even better! Getting a second for the Fangry TM head and one of my Triggerhappys will likely LOSE his Skytread head to a third Misfire and have the Skytread head replaced with an Overload, which looks great on ANYTHING but especially anything blue like Triggerhappy.

My Misfire had a super and I mean the most super floppy of any joint I have ever seen on a modern transformer on his right foot. BUT it helped me make a breakthrough, see I also collect Oakley's and just happened to have an Oakley RX frame adjusting tool in my desk so on a whim I tried it in the fastener hole of Misfires right ankle and TADAW it is as tight and chunky now as any joint on any toy I own. I did it to the rest of the joints held by that type of fastener and now my Misfire is like a perfect chunky sturdy super over stable and tight toy ( For some reason my Highbrow came from the factory like that, WAY different feeling than any other figure I have and have never figured out why but that's a story for HIS review thread). When I get home I will try that tool on all of my deluxe TR figures and see if it will fit the Voyager and leader guys.

Aimless has amazing detail on the headsculpt paint. I wonder why Hasbro decided to add those paint apps on JUST this one titan maser as it would have improved most any and all of them. The gun halves peg together well and work great even without the Titan/ target master riding in it which is a bonus as it isn't the case with some of the combined gun modes for the other TR Deluxes. Aimless also fits down in the cockpit with better clearance than most TR figures. BTW the molded detail on that cockpit is phenomenaly well done. Guns look good on the wings using either peg or peg orientation.

Aside: Does anyone know what the slit hardpoints on the wing underside are for? they look like the are for amounting some accessory like the way Top spin and I assume Twin Twist ( he's out in the car I want to let the 6 yo open him because he loves drill tanks) mount there guns in alt mode. There is a large slit like this as well as a small one nearer the fuselage. I thought at first the guns could mount on these but I cannot find a tab on the gun at all. Is it possible Twin twist/ Top spins guns can be stolen by Misfore and mounted there? I plan to check this evening.

Looking at pics of the Vintage Fangry it may initiate one of my first Titan Master head swap customs to involve some paint apps as Misfires Upper Thighs and Elbows ( the light grey/ off white sections) look to be easily removable ( with the Oakley tool in the thighs case) in order to be sprayed with a couple of coats of satin black to approximate the pink and black color of both the Fangy G1 toy and the Titan Master from the current line.

One more thing about this guy, there is an alternate transformation I have not seen anyone else do that looks KILLER and I feel like Hasbro HAD to know this was possible or why include the articulation for it ... but if you stop mid engine nacelle to arm transformation and while swinging the wing up and rotating it you also flip it over ( this works best with the Decepticon sygil side of the shoulder chunk facing up towards the wing) you can set up a bot mode with the solid smooth upper surface of the wing facing forward instead of the less attractive un finished looking underside with the 5mm ports, hardpoint slots and general hollowness displaying out, showing the nice tamp graphed paint detail in bot mode and re orienting the wings up higher on the backpack just sli8ghtlu giving him sort of a G1 Seeker or Triple Changer feel to him. The only down side is the wing spin/ flip / rotate motion rubs or is really tight clearance wise and could result in some wear over time but I will still be Transforming my ( first) Misfire this way.

I think Misfire is pretty darn good, as an update to the G1 design, and as a toy in general. It transforms rather differently from Triggerhappy, and the arms swinging to the back (and the wings having to swivel the opposite way to remain facing the same way) going to vehicle mode feels a little 'artless', but does the job just fine. It's no secret that I'm not a fan of the headmaster gimmick (in general, not just because it was traditional or not for the character), so I'm pleased to see that a 'de-headmaster' mod is relatively easy to do on Misfire as opposed to "plug a pelvis into the neck area" Triggerhappy. It basically involves carving a space out of the underside of the jet front to allow head clearance. It can be a little challenging, as a screw goes through that area, and you'll probably need to glue things back together once modifications are made.

The given head isn't bad, but I liked the toy/MTMTE comic head better, so I tried out a Ptero head (with black titanmaster arms for better 'ears') which works pretty well.

... Then I went a whole different direction and thought a Fangry head looked best on Misfire.

I am really loving Misfire. Everything about him is solid as Triggerhappy. Guess that makes sense since Misfire is a pretty good remold of TH. But the one thing that really I love is how much paint that Aimless has in his robot mode, especially in his tiny face. Hasbro went the extra mile on this TM.

I found Misfire at the same time I found Twintwist. I really like misfire, but I have to say, he's nowhere near as cool as Triggerhappy. The transformation isn't as cool and the mold fits Triggerhappy better.

I got a full wave set of Titanmasters from BBTS to get Ramhorm, which included Ptero (Head/face) and Apeface (black arms).

Got him alongside Brainstorm & Twintwist. Boy, was he pretty amusing, but not as great as Triggerhappy.

when you TF is, rotate the wing, you will see it only goes one way, have the arm pulled away from the body, rotate the wing so you see the top detail, and the wing sits way higher..MOAR CON LIKE!!

I thinks its supposed to be like that. mines not by me now to take a pic. I think its just a common mistransformation. When you flip them (And it does SEEM to be designed that way because the hinge is JUST long enough to rotate one way, not the other) The figure looks like what it just should look like.

youll see. someone will post a pic if I dont get to it for ya
