None of the original 3 had cliff-hangers as big as the last 2 films.
Like, the Earth is a fucking robo-satan.
    Cliffhanger levels are over 9000!!!!!

Maybe that means this time it's not about a Macguffin hidden on Earth and the Cons and Bots fighting for it to save Earth from the ultimate doom.

They're saying the next movie will have an entirely new storyline.

Why are we taking this any more seriously than when they said TF4 was going to be a reboot?

Before every single sequel, we get some statement about what it's going to be from someone attached to the project who is either lying or doesn't know what the hell they are talking about or what terms mean. When the movie comes out, we'll see. Until then, I don't trust any of these people to tell me the correct time, much less what the next movie is going to be like.

    No. Just... no.

I’m fine with a reboot of the franchise, honestly. And this is coming from someone who has loved the Bay movies (especially the first two). However I definitely didn’t love The Last Knight as much as the others. But I’m looking forward to revisiting it again today once my copy comes in the mail.

Just as long as we get a proper sixth movie and maybe have that be the “conclusion” to this series. The Last Knight would feel like such an unsatisfying conclusion.

I'd say you were joking about that if you hadn't mentioned Amy Pascal.

Don't forget the ancient cybertronian who has a suprising connection to human history.
Yes. Again every movie doesn't just have the same Premise, but the same plot beats. I mean sure every Batman film will have the same premise of Batman trying to stop a psycho from destroying Gotham, but at least they'll mix the elements up some. A lot of people's reason for not seeing TLK was simply because they felt they'd already seen it four times before, and no King Arthur in the opening was not that revolutionary an idea or big a draw.
