Don't really care about the movie-verse anymore, but as far as the toys go, NITRO is one of the best movie voyagers to be sure. TLK Megatron's a damn fine figure as well, but Nitro just ticks more boxes for me.
Barricade is okay, but not anywhere as good as Nitro.

"All hail" a character that appeared less than five minutes in the movie and said a few dumb lines? No thanks. You guys have a really low bar for what excites you from movie decepticons. I cant wait until a decent director handles the transformers movies, excited to see Travis Knights work.

So i totally sounded like a dick and i apologize. I'm just bitter because i havent seen a depiction of the decepticons on the big screen thats really satisfied me. I will say that in spite of the flaws that age of extinction had, Lockdown was a fantastic villain. I wish Hasbro could make a figure worthy of him

Nitro was totally a throw-away character and got an awesome figure.
Lockdown was a decent character and got a crap-tastic deluxe.

When I got him earlier this month, I was rather suprised on how well he transformed and that some parts of his Titans Return compactibility was implemented.Though his neck joint was slightly loose, so I turned his head round and now his neck is slightly more secure. :)

Finally got him, and he's pretty cool. However, he desperately needs ankle tilts. I was a bit miffed when I found he had none. Ankle tilts would've made this guy perfect.
But aside from that, he's pretty darn great. Lots of fun, involved transformation, looks great in both modes. I'd recommend. Also, his jet mode is gloriously beautiful. The undercarriage, despite its size, blends in quite well, and the overall shape of the jet just looks fantastic.

I got mine from Amazon entirely to be Thunderwing (obviously by using the Siege sets Thunderwing Headmaster), to which I'm satisfied. I'm not overly thrilled with him to be honest, I've got 2 QC issues which don't seem to be entirely uncommon, though one of which is irrelevant to me; The Nitro head just wants to bobble head, badly and come off with minimal force. The second is that one of the legs requires an absurd amount of force to snap into the torso to align properly to tab the foot into the thruster, but outside of doing it that first time, if I ever get around to transforming him again, I probably won't bother. As a minor aside, both of the thruster "caps" on the backpack popped off on my first transformation.

It looks great as a Voyager sized IDW "inspired" Thunderwing, which is what I wanted. He's got a lot of weapons, which I like, and he turns into a nice jet all things considered, but I just don't love it. The transformation is different and while I can't think of it, I'm certain it's not unique, I just can't recall who else uses the same/similar scheme.

Paying under standard sticker price and having it delivered to my doorstep, I can't really complain.

This happens to me as well, be careful because it puts insane stress in the chest part that snaps into the leg. I think it'd be just a matter of shaving the leg part it pegs into just a bit (shaving the peg in the chest area is a bad idea because his robot arm pegs there for robot mode too). What I do now is to push the leg down a bit before pegging it in and generally it just slides in at a certain magical angle.

Just don't brute force it because I'm sure it's a potential breakage area.

I angle it in. Doesn't stress the plastic and hits the spot a lot easier.
I'm still completely enamored with this figure. Hell, I'm even considering the OS KO I like the figure so much. That says something.

From here on out, I'm not even going to bother. Transforming it without locking that leg in is quite possible and TBH I'm not sure how often I'll be transforming him anyway. I read a review that said to loosen the screw right there to give more flex room to the hook in for the leg, but mine are so tight that I'm stripping the screwhead instead of moving it. Not a deal breaker for me.

It worked for me to turn the 'head' piece around. Both of my copies are pretty tight and the heads stay in place nicely.
