Question

I got this and installed everything. Only issue I was having was Hot Spots new Pelvic Ratchet Joints. They were borderline impossible to spread his legs or move without a ton of pressure which ultimately messed up my Hot Spot and it broke one of the pieces of the Kit

Does anyone know if this Company X2Toys has a Customer Service or Email to maybe purchase parts instead of an entirely new kit

Need a new Hot Spot obviously but that's what Amazon Overnight is for

 

I got this kit for Defensor.

I gotta say... Not real impressed.

I couldn't peg any of the parts together. The tolerances were WAY off, even the standard 5 mm pegs. I ended up cracking First Aid's connector trying to peg the fist in, and that was AFTER sanding these things down with a modelling file.

To install the parts on Hot Spot literally required breaking him to get his feet apart to get them to fit. And some of the parts just didn't line up like the instructions.

I managed to get him together, but I'm left with something that feels like might break or fall apart if I try and transform or pose him. It's not a matter of fragile plastic - The plastic quality is actually pretty good. but the tolerances are out to lunch. Connections are stressed and too tight all over the place.

I do not recommend this, unless you have a spare Defensor and don't mind damaging one of them to put this together.

I have to agree. The stress on Hot Spots Legs are excruciating. And I need a new Hot Spot because of it

I think they realize this cause supposedly Bruticus comes with a entire new Onslaught rather than a modification

 

An entirely new set of legs for Hotspot should be considered. A problem that he has, which was fixed in MegaEmpress, is the not-so-secure thigh/shin connection to form the combiner's thighs. It's loose as eff.

 

I'm trying to reach the dang company just to get replacement parts for the Kit. Cause even their own parts broke from the Legs being too stressing

 

Anyone got c+customs hips replacement ? Or bought the replacement kits?

Super late post, I know, but I just bought a Victorion today, I wanna get this kit but I gotta ask, Does the magnet you use for Rust Dust interfere with her transformation at all?

 

Nope and you can't even notice it either. Just make sure you don't super-glue the magnet too close to the wheel and you'll be fine.

Can anybody tell me if the Victorion kit allows you to use Rust Dust on the chest without needing to mod anything? Am I correct in that you can simply leave off the red chest plate and attach it?

I saw several pages back there was a photo with Rust Dust that made the chest look much better...but it never made mention of how to do it. Then I saw several pages later somebody did it with a magnet...hoping to avoid that.

I used a magnet to get her on my kit and she looks a lot better. I tried to avoid using one too but the magnet i used doesn't interfere with her transformations at all so I'm OK with it.
