    This toy is looking great. The one thing that I'm not a fan of is the use of stickers. Alt mode is definitely the weaker mode.

    I really like how this toy's design addresses the trailer as a largely superfluous aspect of the cartoon character by making it a part of the bot mode. I imagine the extra panels of the trailer being more tough and serving as bits of armour.

    The grey hands are peculiar, I'm not sure why Hasbro didn't simply go with blue. The apparent lack of swivels at the wrist isn't surprising at this point but it would have been nice to have articulation at those joints.

    Huzzah for ankle tilts!

    Bot mode proportions look good to me.

    As others have said, I'm interested in seeing what Takara does with this mold. I'm sure 3rd party companies are already working on upgrade kits for this. It looks like a mold that has some good potential for upgrading.

    The original G1 Ultra Magnus toy was basically a white Optimus Prime wearing a trailer as armor. A PotP Ultra Magnus would be a white redeco/retool of the Orion Pax cab combining with a retooled trailer.

    That guy is doing so much right in 'bot mode, then you see those grey hands... such an odd detail to miss...

    takara will fix the abit hollow leg ,foot and the hands plus metallic paint

    I'm dying for some behind the back pics. I'm buying this guy regardless but I really want to know how Orion fits into the chest because I have some mods in mind and I'm curious if it'll work the way I think it will.

    If your theory is correct then hopefully after this one we'll finally get a cool Voyager class Optimus with no more lame gimmicks and scales perfectly enough In my collection for me to finally set my Chrome TRU exclusive Classics OP aside.

    That might just be the best looking Optimus robot mode that Hasbro has ever produced.

    Shame that the alt mode is a pile of gaps and ugly robot junk.

    Really impressed with the bot mode, but the vehicle mode is abysmal. Particularly the cab. I really like the concept of using the trailer to build the bot mode. Make me wonder if they plan to do some kind of Motormaster remold.

    Is the bot formed out of just the trailer? and the cab transforms into Orion?
