Which was good in spite of, not because of, him. Brad Bird is why Iron Giant is awesome.

I don't normally go full-fanboy diss but for Lorenzo, even as a huge fan of the movies, I make a special exception. Especially given how Lorenzo went off on fandom back around RotF days.

 

Now I hate Lorenzo cause (while its still annoying of the fandom to ruin this thread the way they have) he made me look like a jackass defending him.

 

Spielberg, Bay and Don Murphy are all producers on the films as well. I have a really hard time thinking I owe Lorenzo for what you stated more than the prior three (and Tom DeSanto).

That said, I guess it's fine for him to be inducted (I believe Steven and Bay is already?). Anyone who's significantly contributed to the franchise deserves to be in. Keeping 'Zo out would be akin to someone not liking Beast Wars and keeping anyone involved with that series out of the HoF because of it. Tho' the GiJoe part of me wants to flog him for the two movies so far. And if they do end up doing a TF/GiJoe movie crossover, I'm certain it'll be largely because of him as well (and my ire will be re-ignited).  

 

I'm glad I googled before replying to this because I mixed up (like I often do) Don Murphy and Don Simpson. The former you'd be correct (or at worst, about even as they both have hits and misses), the latter you'd be horribly wrong. Bruckheimer and Simpson as a producing duo kicked so much ass before Simpson passed away.
