In one of the images you can see him riding savage/noble, seems to be painted up as beast wars megatron

You know, all this talk about G2 Megatron being also used as Archforce makes me wonder if Takara will actually pass on G2 Optimus and instead release the mould as G2 Sureshot (I mean, it probably won't happen but still).

Although it would be pretty silly if they don't put a G2 Autobot symbol in either case.

Yep. Still, I wish they didn't release it since I already got that overexpensive Chaos on Velocitron set.

 

They did, they also got Hero optimus Prime and Go-Bot Prime. I'm not sure I see them going with the Hero deco on TR Optimus. Someone suggested earlier Laser Prime with Sawback in Lio Convoy colors, and that seems right up Takara's alliey. To be honest I'm surprised they did Megatron at all with this line focusing on a time when there was no Megatron.

 

I would love to see the Green G2 Megs/Megastorm from this mold and pack a Overkill/Overboard Titan Master slightly remolded and colored as Gigastorm. I saw one on twitter a while back and am glad I saved it to my phone.

 

I'll like to say they would , but I doubt it. A little too late and the figure is too far removed to be hero prime , if anything i would assume classics to take that role.

 

When it\'s cheaper to buy takara clones lol.

 

I mean...overall it's cheaper to get the hasbro clones at retail, IF you want the majority of the boxsets, if all you wanted was the clones and you go takara you're still paying almost $80 for $40 worth of toy

Also, I've been saying TT need to make a Reverse Convoy from the TR Megatron mold for ages now. If they do Megastorm too, then what would they use for Galvatron? Personally, I think Archforce is a pre-Beast Wars version of BW2 Galvatron, which links him to Megastorm and makes them both G2 clones of G1 Megs.
