I'm sure they're not going anywhere. I'm willing to bet they're one of the most financially successful 3Ps, and they seem to have their head in the game when it comes to marketing, more so than Hasbro at times it seems.

Look at the prices they're offering the recent CD products at in comparison to other 3P offerings at a similar size. They wouldn't be able to do that if they were in financial 'trouble' or whatever.

Yeah, I'm not ready to believe MT is out of the game. I'll wait for official word on the matter.
After all, I still need my Seekers, dammit!

Tell me about it. I planned my next 3 years of 3P TF purchases around the anticipation of their G1 seekers as well as the CD seekers. They better stay in the game.

Just saw the review for this...
The combined form isn't as small as I'd originally thought.
Almost the same size as the HasTak version.
Just that the Prime figure is so tiny... with it being legends sized... I'm still thinking if I should grab this.
Very nice looking bot though... argh.

Say it ain't true...Cross Dimension is by far the most exciting original stuff to come out of 3rd parties by far. Minimal paint save for really awesome detail work so that transformations are stress free, affordability, magical designs that are unmistakably G1 but simultaneously wildly different in aesthetic, and extreme action-figure playability and interesting but no nonsense transformations. They're the absolute best. I would love to see a Bee, Soundwave, Shockwave, Ratchet, Ironhide, and others in this format. Cross Dimension was a success right? They're some of the most universally lauded stuff I've seen on here.

Well everything was going fine until a week or two before release. They sent some product to TFNation (a uk convention) and then a few days later announced that due to a lack of pre-orders the toy was cancelled. Que a few weeks of tin foil hats saying MT is done for and it's game over. Then suddenly a listing shows up on the MT store and now people are stalking the page waiting for it to go live.

MT has been radio silent almost this whole time leading many to think such things as.... MT will start a kickstarter to effectively cover the costs of the toy, Several members of this board who did get a toy are actually MT shills and I'm sure there are some other crazy theory's

frankly MT being silent is nothing new. They just seem to throw out news at their own pace even when they were at their height of popularity. if anything these romours are hurting them. I mean how many of us would jump onto the next combiner? I'd hesitate that's for sure.

Thanks. I noticed the pre-orders were all over the place, and then bam! some were taken down completely, while others went to 'pre-order sold out' over night. Sufficeth to say, I was confused.

    Damn straight.
The quality of products Maketoys make compared to TFC and some others... refinement versus Fisher Price.
    I'd buy Maketoys any day.
I honestly wouldn't bother with all the scare mongering... it's unfounded.

    Just got him! He's great!

Good news too, his buttflap can easily be tucked away as part of his backpack provided you click his ab crunch 1 click forward. Hardly noticeable and makes a fine neutral pose.

I cant wait to ship this with the rest of the stuff in my Stack on Tfsource (and yes i know they take longer to get stuff in but their store credit system plus the free shipping has always put them higher than BBTS in my eyes)

Hi everyone, Thunder Erebus is now available and ready to order! I am not sure how, but this figure may be more fun that Striker Manus/Noir. I would have never guessed you could get a Powermaster Prime to be this posable and balanced.

    Make Toys MTCD-03SP Thunder Erebus
