Ok, minor confession time. I enjoy horror stories.

Not horror movies, horror stories. Like some of the works of Lovecraft and Stephen King.

And seeing as a movie based on one of King's more famous stories has been unleashed on the world (and is probably being mocked to high hell because I haven't checked any reviews yet) I thought this might be appropiate.

Yeah, you really haven't been paying attention to the reviews, then.

Also, I feel the need to point out that Pennywise's hand is way too big and the balloon doesn't actually seem to be floating in a particularly organic fashion.

I mean, as someone who saw the movie last night, I can appreciate the effort but yeah.

 

I really haven't. I retract that statement.

On the one hand, you're probably right.

On the other, It IS a shapeshifting horror from another dimension that only has a foot in the door of our dimension and the clown is merely a front, so some inconsistencies are to be expected.

Either way, I'll probably redraw this thing when the sequel comes out.

Not only that but he's using my Matrix Optimus design too. He's stealing from BOTH of us!

 

Y’know, I never thought it’d happen to me. The guy from the TFW2005 Art forums. The guy who can best be described as using a basic pixelated style. I thought my art would be so basic that no one would think of jacking it and using it as their own.

Clearly, I was wrong.

Because THIS SHITSTAIN STOLE MY ARTWORK

Now, let’s get something straight.

I don’t exactly have a problem with people using my art for their own purposes, as long as they let me know.

I never knew about this person until I looked up Minicons on Deviantart and stumbled across this person using recolors of my artwork, especially recent artpieces and bios, without any prior permissions.

I could just report the art pieces they stole and be done with it. But I seem to be having some difficulties with doing so. Mainly, the next button doesn’t work.

But rest assured, now people like you know what she did.

unfortunately DA doesn't let you report someone else's content for containing IP that you don't own (in this case, your artwork), so I can't report the images. But if you go to them, Stone, I think you could fight the case.

 

I get that it's kinda crappy that she stole/recoloured your art without your permission, but from looking at her profile and gallery, I can't imagine this girl is much older than 10 or 11. She probably doesn't realise what she's done is wrong. So "Give her hell" is probably a little overzealous

If the report button isn't working, maybe try leaving a message on her profile or PMing her and resolving the matter that way

I don't think this is really a decision for us. You need to make up your own mind on what you want to do

 

I second Wars. I really don't see the point of opening this decision up for your viewerbase, it just seems like an unnecessary grab for extra attention. It's your art, so it's your issue to handle

 

I think you should just let her credit you. She's clearly sorry, probably about half your age, and frankly, what's the point in having her delete them when you let us recolor your stuff a thousand times anyway?

But just make your own damn decision. It's you, not us.

With that in mind, I've decided to make my own decision on the matter.

I agree with Wars and everyone else. This is one of those issues that you really don't need outside input to solve. It's your art and your issue. And frankly, it probably should've been resolved privately and with dignity.

With the passionate war cry to "give her hell" and what not, this whole ordeal is drifting into borderline bullying territory.

Edit: well apparently that was a bit late, but I'll leave my opinion as it is anyway. I stand by my observation on how the situation was starting to look.
