    And then 2007 came along. And for some odd reason, out of all the G1 Autobots, they chose Bumblebee to be the character they'll shove down everybody's throat from now on. Bumblebee was nothing before 2007. But they've been pushing this guy on us for over a decade now. And everybody insists he's such a popular character. But is he really that popular? Or has everybody simply been brainwashed into thinking he's more popular than he actually is?

    I personally prefer Windcharger. I'm a Pontiac Firebird/Trans-Am guy. So why not Windcharger? FUCK BUMBLEBEE!

    G1 Bumblebee and others like him have always been the kid appeal characters.

    -yellow is popular and gender neutral (all colors should be gender neutral but whatever)

    -small and not too powerful, makes him more sympathetic

    -brash, impulsive and friendly makes him relatable for the kids as well

    -hangs around the humans

    The same applies to Cheetor and Hot Shot. Always been that way. Not some big conspiracy.

    And yet, regardless of what happened before 2007, 2007 did in fact happen, and it made Bumblebee the popular character he is today.

    Unlike Windcharger who didn't even warrant the audience being shown his death. Just dump his punk ass on the floor and go on with your business.
